Do NOT go here. I have not had a single positive experience. They over schedule, understaff, and rush work. I went here to get my wisdom teeth extracted and suffered a ruptured sinus that led to a sinus infection and constant pressure and sinus pain due to them being overbooked and rushing through patients. They are the dental equivalent of a chop shop. They schedule 10 patients an hour and don’t care about or take accountability for their mistakes. You will wait for hours past your appointment for a service that isn’t even worth it.

Was seen Thursday March 12 for a wisdom tooth extraction. Procedure was fine no complaints there, this is where my frustration comes from however. It now has been a week since my extraction and everything is healing nicely BUT I have no feeling whatsoever in my lip chin and jaw and teeth on the left side of my face. I'm very worried and the number on my discharge papers les directly to a answering service that has been giving me the run around for 3 days. I couldn't seem to get in contact with the actual office and not the call center but when I finally did this morning about twenty min ago the only thing the secretary told me was " what do you want me to tell you"? I live two hours away mind you so I can't just hop in my car and drive right to the office so I said is the any openings she told me on the 27. I work 2 jobs and I have two kids. I just want feeling back in my face jaw chin area. He travels is what she said so no way I could get any advice on the phone. 🤷🏽‍♀️ You mean nobody can give me a explanation or any friendly advice to how I can regain feeling back in my face? The appointment is 2 weeks from now so I would have to go 3 weeks with no feeling and drive two hours away so someone can explain to me how I can get over this? It's just so freaking frustrating to why I couldn't get through, why there was a paper that said dr. Lee and to call and when I called all I can get is a snard remark to what I am going through and the fact that I am fully worried about this means I will have to go to the hospital when I get off so at least someone can explain or help me because at this point Google would be more helpful than the actual dentist office itself.

The facility is disgusting. There's boogers on the wall in the X-ray room. The filling I got there lasted less than 3 months before I had to find another dentist to fix it properly. You get your initial exam in a room full of other patients, which was super weird. I'm never going back.

Spencer Dental Mechanicsville has a wonderful staff. Dr. Christian has a great amount of shareable knowledge. He communicates effectively and is an excellent advocate for dental health. I’m happy that we were able to get my son’s Orthodontic needs met! The staff is fully supportive and definitely in the business of supporting families. Thank you!!
