I brought my son in today for what we believed was a confirmed appointment that had been scheduled about six months in advance. When we arrived, we were told the appointment had been canceled. I asked why I was not notified, and initially I was told that I had blocked notifications. I requested that they review the document showing my preferences, and after checking, they confirmed that I had not blocked notifications. I then asked why I was never informed of the cancellation or why the system showed notifications as blocked when they were not. I was told they could not explain it. Unfortunately, no one apologized for the inconvenience or offered to help reschedule the appointment while we were there. This experience felt very unprofessional and unaccommodating. Communication and customer service are extremely important, especially when it involves children and appointments scheduled months in advance. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this office. @owner, I contacted the number and waited on hold then the call was disconnected. Handled with Care I would like to thank the Taylor Dental staff for handling my appointment with care. From the moment I walked in, the front desk clerk knew who I was and prepared my documents within minutes of me signing in. Shortly after, the dental assistant Bre' called me into a conference room and explained the procedures the specialist was going to be performing and what I should do after the procedure with home care. Once I entered the room my specialist Thomas Harmon entered and completed the procedure. It was painless and quick. I was given supplies to tend to my mouth before leaving. As I walked out of the door Walgreens was texting confirming prescriptions submitted by Taylor Dental.

We had a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient with my child. The dental team knows how to work with kids — they explained everything in a fun, gentle way that made my child feel safe and comfortable. The office is very clean and kid-friendly. I highly recommend this office to any parent seeking a kind, professional team that genuinely cares about children’s dental health!

The team was professional and provided timely service. I took my 3 year old in for a cleaning g and Dr. Boykin was amazing. He talked with my child and made him at ease. The assistants were great and communicated well with me and my child throughout the visit. I highly recommend the Gretna Taylor dental location.

Got my first ever filling here today (Friday). It was quick and painless but my filling fell out less than 6 hours later. The office is closed and it’s now a weekend. The phone number can connect you to someone in India to schedule appointments but I couldn’t get any real help or advice on what to do next. I’m very upset that a small cavity that wasn’t bothering me is now a big hole that can easily get infected as I wait for an appointment next week. UPDATE: I went back Monday and the receptionist was rude and wouldn’t let me see another dentist at the practice, said I had to wait for the same dentist to be back. No one even apologized for the poor work or inconvenience and tried to play it off like it’s common for fillings to fall out the same day. Instead of going back another day I made an appointment at another dental office (Dr. Leggio) and they were very kind. At that dentist I found out that three major things were missing from my appointment at Taylor Dental that I did not notice because I never had a filling. 1. There was still some decay under where the filling had been which could have contributed to the filling not bonding. 2. The first dentist did not test the bite or adjust it AT ALL. The other dentist said that’s pretty much the most important part. 3. No polishing afterwards. The second dentist said that leaving a rough surface leaves more potential for things to stick to and decay the filling so they polish the filling smooth. Overall I think more than even being a poor experience this dental office is a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. I’d advise avoiding.
