Taylor Dental & Braces

I had an appointment today and they were efficient as expected. My son been coming here for 12 years so I expected nothing less when I had to get dental work myself. They listened to my concerns and helped me figure out the best course of action for my situation.

Some of the staff were pleasant, and the cleaning process for all four of my children, including my toddler, went smoothly. However, the communication after the exams was lacking. No one verbally explained the findings or provided any documentation about my children’s dental health. After the exams, I was simply sent to the front desk to schedule follow-up appointments without knowing why. I had to ask the scheduler what each child needed and what the next appointments were for. I was also surprised that none of my children received a take-home bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, or floss, as I’ve always thought that was standard after pediatric dental visits. Overall, the cleaning itself was a good experience, but the lack of communication left me feeling uninformed. Because of that, I’ll likely try another location for future appointments.

First time back after some years to bring my children in for a check up and cleaning. As soon as we entered and walked to the desk we received attitude from the young lady. So much attitude, I just canceled the appointments. I understand Mondays can be overwhelming but frustration shouldn’t be taken out on the patients.

When I walked in the receptionist at check in took a while to acknowledge me it was very unwelcoming. Dr.York is the sweetest Doctor I’ve ever encountered at Taylor Dental. She made me change my mind about not changing their dentist. She’s very friendly and very welcoming made my kids feel very at ease.

It took two visits to receive the kiddies toothbrushes and kiddie toothpaste! LOL THANKS! Otherwise, a seemingly nice staff and tolerant dentists. I am not everyone's choice of person to deal with and they handled me well.
