We can’t say enough good things about VCU Orthodontics and Dr. Philips. Every member of the staff made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and truly cared for. The entire team is kind, organized, and incredibly professional. Dr. Philips is amazing. She takes the time to explain all aspects of treatment, answers questions thoughtfully, and never makes you feel rushed. You can tell she’s not only highly skilled, but genuinely invested in getting the best possible outcome for her patients. Her attention to detail is exceptional and her (and her team's) beside manner is a 10/10. The assistants and front office staff deserve their own compliment too. They were friendly, patient, and eager to help with scheduling and billing questions. It is truly a well run operation from top to bottom. We would highly recommend Dr. Philips and VCU Orthodontics and cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they provide.

Dr. Allegood has been amazing with my daughters orthodontic care so far! He’s very down to earth and patient. He explains her plan of care in detail and ensures all of our questions are answered. We know we’re in safe hands!

Amanda, Elena, and Dr. Curtis are amazing! We've interacted with Amanda several times in person and on the phone. She is so personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease about treatment and payments. Today Dr. Curtis and Elena were so very positive and patient with my daughter who has special needs. They made sure she felt comfortable and took the time needed to get excellent 3D digital scans and X-rays. They went the extra mile to make sure my daughter understood her treatment plan. Most of all they made the experience fun! Thank you all for such a great experience! Highly recommend!!!

The personality of the staff is wonderful. The way they treat my daughter every time she comes has been very rewarding ever since she was 6 years old and was scared of dentist and the orthodontist but after visiting VCU on her first visit and giving them a high five that was gratitude and joyful to see how they made an impression on her.
