Western Dental & Orthodontics Kids

I sat at appt for 2 hours before I finally left and told the to cancel and I won’t be coming back. I got my son out of school for no reason just to sit down for two hours and never got seen. Not even to check his teeth or do an xray. I would not recommend going there to anyone. It’s dirty, all of the seats for the kids were dirty they don’t even place a plastic wrap or cloth for the kids to lay on. Don’t go here unless you have time to sit around and waste.

they opened at 9am once inside it felt dark cold and uninviting. my daughter had a 9am appointment we were the first ones signed in but they still called 3 people in before her. the glass divider at office window was dirty counter was oily and waiting room smelled musty/dusty & chairs were grimy/sticky. when my daughter was called back they wouldn't let both me and her dad go back with her which is kinda messed up because my daughter is almost 4 years old was scared and wanted both of us with her. I'm pregnant and can't be by the X-ray so dad went in. they were professional & the lady's in the office was nice/friendly and after my daughter was done they gave her a sticker & new toothbrush they let her pick the color which made her happy.

My son is high on the spectrum for autism and I was under the impression that this office works well with kids of the sort but I was TOTALLY WRONG! Two appointments straight and both ended in him being referred to Stockton's surgery center to get a regular checkup. The dentist at Western Dental Kids give up so easily when things are not as EASY as they expect. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS OFFICE IF THEY'RE HIGH ON THE SPECTRUM FOR AUTISM! I hope I saved a parent from wasting their valuable time!

They accept MediCal for both general and ortho, which is great! Western dental is a huge business corporation and their often busy. Despite Western Dentals reputation - at "other" sites. This location is top tier. Isabelle from front receptionist was very helpful. She remained professional and knowledgeable which is absolutely important. Even if it's hectic, how important it is to remain a positive attitude is a must. Isabelle, thanks for your help! The energy and atmosphere at this location was great and welcoming too. Go in with a positive attitude, if you go in demanding service.. you'll get that energy back. A business is not entitled to service you.
