I regret choosing this location for my orthodontic treatment. My experience with the front desk staff and management has been consistently unprofessional and dismissive. Communication throughout my treatment has been extremely poor. Procedures such as spacers were placed without proper explanation beforehand. I often felt like things were being done without clearly informing me of what to expect. As a patient undergoing orthodontic treatment, especially something as significant as braces and expanders, communication and transparency are essential. Unfortunately, I did not feel respected or adequately informed during my visits. I would recommend that others carefully consider their options, as there are other dental offices in Stockton that prioritize patient communication and professionalism.

Dr. Burch is the best dentist, he makes you feel comfortable and talks you through what he is doing. The whole staff is amazing, very friendly and respectful. It’s very rare these days to find a dentist that makes you feel you feel comfortable!

I am completely done with Western dental between the multiple times that we have signed a document stating that there will be a zero dollar co-pay and still later being charged for services from having them. Tell me that Delta dental overpaid for some services but underpaid for others, but they are not willing to make the adjustments on their end at Western dental billing and tell me that it is not their problem and that the patient has to come out of pocket. I have been told by multiple people in the billing department and in collections that they received overpayment for services and they do nothing and yet still I am owing for other services while Delta dental tells me they have no way of overpaying services, but western dental is overcharging for service services, which is why they didn’t have enough money to pay the rest of the bills. None of it makes sense other than I signed a document that said I had no patient responsibility. And then not to mention the service to sit there for two or three hours and wait for my appointment time only to be told they don’t have time to do the cleaning the same day. I will never go to another Western dental I literally have to plan to give up almost half of my day just for a dentist appointment. And I’m still fighting the billing department.

To busy texting! The desk staff , They’ll prevent you from having your scheduled appointment and come up with any type of ridiculous excuse. Also, WARNING! THEY WILL CALL You TO DISMISS You AS AN PATIENT IF YOU POST NEGATIVE REVIEW!. Do not start any payments or give any money to start treatment. They will rip you Off. They will defend the each other, and come up with some type of ridiculous excuse. This disrespectful Western dental Office is pathetic., don’t waste your time at this location. Desk staff, the Doctor, and the Manager are all Disrespectful!

August 25, 2025 Approximately 11:00 AM PST To the Management of this organization, Whomever you have answering and responding to your phones needs to be fired immediately. I called to ask some simple questions and all I got was a poor attitude. First, the speaker’s English wasn’t clear, so I had to ask her to repeat herself several times, which only made her attitude worse. Second, apparently you have several locations, which I wasn’t aware of. Nonetheless, she expected me to immediately know which facility I was interested in visiting. Third, as it appears that she works remotely, (maybe not even in the US) she acted like she has no personal connection to any of your local facilities and really couldn’t care where I went, if I even went at all. (I’m assuming that you’ve outsourced your answering service overseas, due to the speaker’s accent and noticeable audio feedback loop delay.) Finally, she had no concern whatsoever of the patient’s condition, (i.e., the degree of pain involved leading to the need to book an appointment) but her one and only concern was the method of payment. When I tried to explain my insurance background, she wasn’t interested in listening deeply, and just wanted confirmation of method of payment. So, what I got out of this experience was the attitude, “We don’t care about you, or your problems. We just care about your method of payment.” You all need to do better and fix this problem, if you expect to fix more teeth in the future. As you can guess, I didn’t make an appointment with your group, have no intention to do so in the future, and I highly discourage any potential clients reading this to avoid going to any of your locations as well.
