Lakefront Smiles - Stockton

Over a period of a year or so I had numerous procedures completed at Lakefront Smiles. Each person, from office to dentist worked with me to ensure I knew what was happening when, with whom, how long, how much. We discussed every detail so they were aware of my wants and expectations. They made sure I was aware of the best way to reach those goals. When I had questions or concerns regarding anything, the person handling that area made sure their answers and solutions were clear and correct. When issues arose they were quickly rectified. I’m very particular about my dentistry and felt each person in each position was equally as particular about how well they did their work and that we were both happy with their results. I’m tremendously satisfied with my dental health and once again having a smile I’m happy to show. My many thanks to the Lakefront Smiles staff.

Lakefront Smiles was able to get me in for a a last minute Saturday appointment despite not being my regular doctor. My permanent retainer had become detached Friday night. When I first called and spoke to Sabrina, she was compassionate and offered an appointment. She wasn’t sure their office would be able to help. I went in anyway. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I was very thankful when Dr. Sethi agreed to fix my retainer. I was in and out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Lakefront Smiles. Thank you again for caring and helping me out! I am deeply dissatisfied with the administrative practices and regulatory non-compliance at Lakefront Smiles. On July 21, 2026, I made an initial in-person request for the electronic transmission of my digital dental X-rays. On July 23, I followed up via text message at 8:00 AM and by telephone at 5:00 PM. Although the office did not close until 7:00 PM, giving staff ample time to dispatch the document that evening, the front staff told me it would be sent the following day. I agreed to this timeline in good faith based on their explicit assurance. Today, July 24, after initiating another follow-up text, the front staff verified my email address on file but completely reversed their directives. They refused to email the documentation, demanded that I physically present myself at the facility to sign the release, and mandated an arbitrary flat fee of $25 to transmit the digital files. Under California Health & Safety Code § 123110 and federal HIPAA guidelines, patients possess an absolute statutory right to timely access to their records. Imposing a flat fee is only legally permissible if an office is physically mailing paper copies or duplicating records onto a physical drive (like a CD or flash drive) to cover material costs. Charging a flat administrative fee to send a digital email is legally impermissible, as fees are strictly restricted to actual digital labor costs. Furthermore, creating unnecessary physical barriers to access constitutes a constructive denial of patient rights. If I continue to be ignored and neglected, I will have no choice but to raise my concerns and file formal complaints with the Dental Board of California and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Servics.

The staff was amazing. Everybody was very nice and explained everything in great detail. I felt comfortable. They made me feel very welcomed and they were very knowledgeable about the information they were giving me definitely I’m going to recommend to friends and family.

I live in Tracy, but I could not find a local dentist with whom I felt comfortable enough to continue going to them. So I searched online consumer review sites to find somebody that everybody raved about. I found Dr. Sethi in Stockton -- a 45 minute drive for me! BUT, I decided she might be worth it. I think that was over 5 years ago...and I am still coming back to her practice. I've had cleanings, fillings & crowns, and am nearing the end of my Invisalign program. Her entire staff is caring, highly capable, and wonderfully interactive (shout-out to Samantha!! 😁). If you're a nervous ninny like I used to be, give these folks a try!
