Western Dental & Orthodontics

I have been going to Western Dental since I was a kid. Even before I started making my own appointments and checking in by my myself, I recognized the off/on long lines, the wait times growing depending on how many of us were booked at or around the same time, and how short staff it can be (especially with one noted person doing general on weekends). But, when I do get serviced, I appreciate that it is mostly in and out. I haven’t experienced too long of a wait time when I have early morning weekday appointments. The last time I tried to do a weekend, it was supposed to be a 2 hour wait time even with a morning appointment, and the waiting room was packed. I learned better after that. Making appointments can be better in-person than on the phone, mostly because of the redirections. May be quicker calling the direct number listed on Google when searching for the Western Dental you want if unable to do in-person. I had Dr. Patel today for filling, and it was smooth. It made the process even easier to have a next appointment scheduled right after. I have had other doctors here, and I haven’t had bad experiences with them either. Thank you to the X-Ray team (I forget his name, but I’ve particularly seen one older man doing X-Ray since I was younger. He’s a consistent familiar face with great energy) and to the rest of the staff I have seen/been serviced by over the years. There can always be some improvement, but even today, I’ve been reminded how much everyone there tries to get things done timely and as smoothly as able with what/who they have. Thank you 🙏🏻

On a walk in I was not helped while in pain Jenn whom is pcp front desk and her office manager Jackie told me they wouldn’t help me because of a accommodation with out my card like a year ago for implant consultation so they won’t help me in a emergency situation in which my wisdom tooth is inflamed and my pain is unbelievable. I didn’t want pain medication just antibiotics do to the appointment being almost 4wks out But it took a wonderful staff member by the name of Evon to offer some great accommodations such as cash pay or western insurance carried in house. Again the Jenn front desk rolled her eyes and Jackie stood and gave evil eyes saying she spoke to her boss not corporate and they decided not to hel this is my second time and she said they can’t do it multiple times because they did it the first time. Money over pain n care…..

i would give ZERO STARS if i could. these people are NEGLIGENT AND INCOMPETENT. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR YOUR TIME OR SAFETY. i was scheduled in OCTOBER for a wisdom tooth removal in JANUARY, only to attend my appointment today and be told by the receptionist that the specific doctor i need to do my procedure is not working today and was never going to work today. when asked why i was scheduled for a day that the doctor wasn’t available, the receptionist had a nonchalant and useless reply about how i can be scheduled for february when the correct doctor will be there. FOOLISH PEOPLE. they do not care about details or getting things right the first time. i was told MONTHS AGO that today is the only day i can be scheduled for precisely because the doctor only works once a month. then i come all the way to the clinic today to be told that i can’t be seen today, as though they didn’t know the procedure i needed months ago when THEY scheduled ME. they do not care about you or your time. i’ll be going to a different dental clinic next week to get my procedure done. i am never coming back to western dental EVER. they are the most scarily incompetent and apathetic dental team i have ever experienced in my life.

Where do i start with this unprofessional ran franchise, I've been coming here for years... if you have an emergency and need your tooth pulled, they have to schedule you because they are limited to only two days a week for orthodontics, They have long wait times, scheduling issues, The employees don't smile don't seem like they want to be at work... I have denti-cal and anyone who has this insurance gets it, I had a back molar removed I paid out of pocket for the bone graft $576... I took that money from my savings my disposable stitches came out the next day when they weren't due to come out until 5 to 7 days, I'm now 5 days in and I can't even see any bone graft there's a hole there now because all the bone graft has been washing up, this is not the first time I've had this done and didn't have this problem the first time crazy thing is I will not be refunded... I'm definitely finding a different office after this, times are hard for everyone and I feel like they just stole my money
