Smile Straight Orthodontics - Sunland Park

We had a great first visit at this orthodontic clinic! The staff was welcoming and made my son feel comfortable right away. Everyone was kind, professional, and explained everything clearly. The office was clean and ran on time. We’re really happy with our experience and look forward to continuing his treatment here!

Unfortunately, I wasted my time coming here. I specifically checked through my insurance that this place was in-network for the treatment I was seeking. The office kept saying they did not see my benefit for coverage and initially provided the financials as if I would pay out of pocket. I don’t see the point of paying out of pocket if my benefit is clearly there. I called my insurance 3 times to confirm this coverage, which they did and my insurance even called the office with no response. It really felt like they did not want me to use my insurance. What’s worse is I feel that my time was wasted and there was no regard for it. I am seeking treatment at another orthodontist. This is why I always check my coverage before making appointments so I don’t end up paying unnecessarily and if I hadn’t check my benefit details, I would have ended up paying out of pocket.

We had such a wonderful experience starting my child’s orthodontic journey here. The entire team was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle—not just with her, but with all of us. They made what could have been a nerve-wracking visit feel calm and reassuring. We’re so grateful to be in such caring hands!

Went in for a consultation, the lady who helped us with that was very informative and explained everything in detail. The Doctor was nice and very clear about what needed to be done and made sure we had all the info we needed. They were able to start my son the same day. They offer affordable payment plans which is very important to us. The whole process took about 45mins it was very quick but thorough. The assistant Betty was very nice and patient with my son. She also gave us lots of information we needed for before after and during treatment. Overall was a VERY good experience for us!!!

The doctor and assistants were very helpful, patient, and kind. They explained everything clearly and made my child feel comfortable and not scared. The girls are so friendly, the office is clean, and the service is excellent. I really appreciate how caring and professional everyone was. I definitely recommend Smile Straight Orthodontics to other parents!
