I had such a wonderful experience at VCO from the moment I walked in, the entire team made us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. The front desk staff are always warm and organized, and scheduling appointments has been easy and stress free every time. The orthodontist Dr. Chrissy is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and great at explaining every step of the process in a way that feels reassuring and easy to understand. The office uses top of the line technology, which made my daughter’s treatment feel efficient, precise, and comfortable. I always felt confident that my daughter was in excellent hands. The office itself is spotless, modern, and runs right on time. My daughter’s treatment results have exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier with her smile. It has truly boosted her confidence, and I am so grateful for the care and attention she received throughout the entire journey. If you are looking for an orthodontist who combines professionalism with kindness and a friendly atmosphere, this is absolutely the place to go. I highly recommend Dr. Chrissy to anyone considering orthodontic treatment.

Dr Markova is incredible! Kind, patient and talented in what she does. Excellent bedside manners. My son has a lot of anxiety around dental procedures and she made him feel so comfortable. He had a palate expander which is not fun but she made it so much easier for us. The office is beautiful, clean and everyone is super nice!!

This place was great while I had my braces, but I came back because I had some gaps forming, (mind you, I force would my retainer on every other night WITHOUT FAIL). When I go to the office, I sit for around 15 minutes then the orthodontist tells me that I havent worn my retainer in MONTHS. I then explain to her that I have been wearing it 3-4 times a week and she denies it over and over again. Im just so frustrated because I have been putting these uncomfortable things in my mouth for the past year just for her to passive aggressively dismiss and discredit what I’m telling her and for her to tell me that I need new retainers which cost $600 by the way. Upon doing my own research, you are supposed to wear your retainers at all times after getting braces for months, which she never told me to do, which is why i have to get braces all over again even though ive never gone more than 2 days without wearing my retainers. Find somewhere else that are more respectful and have better prices.

A few weeks ago I went to consult with Dr Markova, but I left really disappointed. I waited much longer than other people who came after me, and as a Spanish-speaking patient without insurance I felt ignored and dismissed. When I walked out, I even saw a family scanning a front-desk sign offering gift cards for leaving a review, which made the whole experience feel even more discouraging.

I can’t say enough how happy I am that I transferred my Invisalign treatment to Dr. Markova! She and the entire staff at VCO Orthodontics are just amazing. Kind, caring, and professional! I moved to Virginia mid treatment and transferring to VCO was extremely easy! Every step of my treatment with them from before my first appointment (they answered all my questions about transferring quickly and thoroughly) all the way to my last appointment today, they went above and beyond my expectations. Even the little things like the freshly baked cookies they have every day, the bottle of water and hand written note I received at my first appointment, and now the adorable mini champagne bottle to celebrate the end of my treatment, all have made my experience with this office better than I could have ever hoped for! I highly recommend VCO Orthodontics and am sad I won’t see them again now that I’m done with my treatment!
