Dr. Miller is simply one of the best orthodontists hands down. He has superior knowledge and technically is outstanding. He has the best pricing in town. He knows exactly what she's doing. He always available and his office has the best customer service. If you need any type of bracing don't go any where but to see him. Your are in more than capable and excellent hands w/ him. And, their waiting room is so cute!
I’ve had a great experience getting orthodontic work done here, Dr. Alex Vo is very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve never had any issues with his staff, everyone is very respectful, welcoming and friendly. Priscilla helped me at my last appointment and she was amazing, made the whole appointment comfortable for me, thank you!
they told me their practice "wouldn't be a good fit for me" after they misgendered me and I asked questions regarding their environment and COVID precautions. this while in the midst of booking an appt with them for an emergency retainer repair.
I hate to leave this review, partly because I was so impressed with Dr Miller previously, and also because the new dentist did nothing wrong, but I was not pleased with my last experience. Dr Miller had fixed a broken wire a year earlier that another dentist had failed to repair four times, and the office charged me a very reasonable price (I had shopped around for a quote). Naturally, I wanted to return when I had concerns about damage to the same wire. Upon entering, the staff claimed I was a half hour late (I am quite sure I remembered what time the appointment had been set for, because I marked it in my calendar immediately after scheduling over the phone a week earlier). The woman’s attitude was very much “what’s in the system is what goes, don’t argue with me”. She then tried to take me back for X-rays, which I was not scheduled for. She finally realized she had the wrong person for the x-rays, and claimed she had already deleted my appointment earlier (again, claiming I was late) and that had thrown her. She tried to laugh through a few underhanded comments she made implying I didn’t know when my appointment was, and then left the room. A minute later the guy that scheduled the appointment came in and began explaining that the fee for the repair (I believe we had discussed a price during scheduling) would be “per point”, and that the charge could be potentially totally two or three times what had initially been quoted. This was the second surprise, after being told my appointment had been incorrectly scheduled. Still, my wire, without getting into details, only had “two points” and the surprise charge could not be justified. The timing of the information suggests the woman had grumbled to him when she left the room because I had stood up for myself when she claimed I was late, and a punitive charge had been attempted, or at least used as a type of vengeful harassment. Then the doctor came in, and it was not Dr Miller. Understand that the name of the office on Google still has Dr Miller’s name, Dr. Miller’s photo, and the bio in the “About” section on the mobile website is Dr Miller’s. (Oddly, the “About” section on the website has the new dentist if it is accessed through a laptop. I have no explanation for this). The point is, I had every reason to believe I was seeing Dr Miller. They are still passing out cards that have Dr. Miller’s name on it. This is important because I had learned, from my previous experience with the dentist prior to Miller, that not all orthodontists were capable of solving the problems with my wire. Dr Vo, the new dentist, is a very nice man, and in fact was the only person in the office that did not imply I didn’t know my appointment time or attempt to charge me multiples of the initial quote, but the administrators inability to schedule correctly, their implications that I didn’t know my appointment time and the underhanded slights that I didn’t know my schedule, and the seemingly punitive talk of additional fees for standing up for myself against such inhospitable behavior, has led me to believe I will find dental care elsewhere. To their credit, they did not send me away, even if the appointment was not scheduled properly, and they didn’t charge me for the dentist’s time since the wire wound up not needing repair, but it was an unpleasant experience.
I had my first consultation at Dr. Miller's office last week and it was incredible! The staff was so friendly, and the office was very comfortable and inviting... I could have easily taken a nap in the consult room. As someone who is typically uncomfortable at the dentist/orthodontist, the staff made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Miller was very informative and explained things in a way that really put me at ease about my next year of treatment. I was a little nervous since it has been years since i have considered looking into getting braces as an adult, and my visit only made me wish i had sought out an orthodontist sooner! I look forward to my next visit!!
