Risas Dental and Braces - Tempe

I really wanted to like this office because everyone has always been friendly, but unfortunately my experience hasn’t been great. About six months ago, I had an old filling replaced, and ever since then I’ve had significant pain when chewing and sensitivity to cold. I’ve gone back multiple times to have it adjusted, but the problem still hasn’t been resolved, and it’s frustrating to still be dealing with pain after several visits. I also recently went in for a cleaning, and it felt very rushed. It was one of the quickest cleanings I’ve ever had, and I left feeling like my teeth weren’t thoroughly cleaned. The new dentist I saw (a young lady) also seemed uninterested and didn’t make me feel like my concerns were being taken seriously. One thing that also bothered me is that the office encourages patients to leave positive reviews by offering entry into a raffle for a gift basket or other prize. While that’s their choice, I think reviews should reflect genuine patient experiences rather than be influenced by incentives. I understand that dental work doesn’t always go as planned, but after multiple attempts to fix the same tooth and feeling rushed during my most recent appointment, I can’t say I had the level of care I was hoping for. I hope they take patient concerns more seriously and spend more time providing thorough care.

Came here for a cleaning yesterday, I expressed my interest in getting braces started and literally got them out in today. Everybody is really sweet, pricing is extremely transparent, and their hours are super flexible. Would highly recommend. Jessica did an amazing job on my braces and Moni was amazing with getting me all squared away!

I had an amazing experience at Risas Dental in Tempe. I felt comfortable right away, and the staff treated me with so much respect. No judgment at all — just kindness, patience, and professionalism. Dr. Nelson is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. His assistant, Monse, was super nice and helpful throughout my visit. They make a great team and really put you at ease. I was supposed to see the orthodontist after my cleaning for a braces/Invisalign exam, but we both forgot. I called afterward, and they immediately scheduled me a new appointment at no charge. That kind of service is rare and really appreciated. The office is affordable, honest, and focused on helping patients. It’s absolutely worth it, and I’m grateful I found a place that makes dental care feel this comfortable.

My experience was amazing was greeted and helped by Monica, I had came from another location which they wasn’t helpful at all. Monica was kind and knowledgeable regarding codes for my type of insurance she had great customer service was able to set up appt next day. The Asst. Kay and Dr.kline was amazing very kind and caring . Even though Dr Kline was busy only Dr in that day, I was his last patient he didn’t try rush was careful and did a great job I’m pleased and appreciate the all around great service at this location.
