Risas Dental and Braces - Chandler

I am not satisfied with the scheduling process. Due to their scheduling system issues, a previously scheduled appointment was missed and then the patient was rescheduled 6 weeks later. As a result, the braces are now significantly overdue for adjustment and the recommended treatment schedule has been disrupted.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Not only did you advertise a $10 special for new patients x-ray exam. You instead billed my insurance when I specifically told the receptionist I would like to utilize the special. Unfortunately, you billed my insurance for $262 dollars which is unfair and cuts into my dental insurance for the remainder of the year. So not only have you stipend me of my dental credit within my insurance policy, you failed to notify me before doing so. Would not recommend as this cannot be reversed and I’ve lost the utilization of $2,000 on my dental insurance due to Risas Dental charging $262 for an X-RAY EXAM, instead of the $10 x-ray fee advertised. So due to this not only can I not afford future treatment you’ve devastated my dental plan, journey and future towards a better smile. Highly do not recommend ! Update 6/26/2026 Made sure to add photos as well. As I will be filing a complaint with the BBB for mis charging as I am seeking a refund. Do not appreciate the fact the dentist nor front desk associates acknowledged or explained that with a first time patient offering $10 exams you waited until after treatment to disclose this information.

No matter what your scheduled time is, they never get you back as scheduled. I realize not everyone is seen exactly at their appointment time, but the appointment was at 4pm and it is after 450pm now. We are still waiting to be seen, which is ridiculous. All they said was sorry. Once we are done with braces here, we will not be coming back to this place.

Just got of the phone am in horrendous amount of pain my face is swollen I needed to be seen in the location where I liveRAY RD and they told me that I can't be seen as an emergency visit even though I'm in tremendous pain and my face is swollen they won't take me in because I was seeing and a Phoenix office 6 years ago that there policy that is crazy if you ask me and as well I have different insurance I don't have government insurance! I needed to be seen this is ridiculous! AM SUPER UPSET ABOUT THIS I NEVER HEARD OF A POLICY LIKE THIS!!!!!! So if you're seen at one location you can't be seen at another location that the policy !!

This is ridiculous my appointment was at 2:00pm for both of my kids they got in at 3:00 .. this new girls at Risas are so rude. No good costumer service or anything. I asked how long more to get my kids they didn’t even answer my questions.. I always come here with my kids but this time our wait time and experience was horrible. I don’t know why you have this girls at front with bad attitude.
