Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics

Doctor’s visits are usually challenging with my child, but we were incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful team during our eye exam. Estrella was exceptionally caring and gentle, which made a remarkable difference. What touched me most was how she reassured my child, reminding them that I would never do anything to put them in harm’s way. That simple gesture meant so much and helped us both feel at ease. We also had a great experience with Wedi. She was thorough, professional, and reassuring. She took the time to ensure everything was accurate and clearly explained. Together, they made what is usually a stressful appointment feel calm and supportive. Thank you, Estrella and Wedi, for your compassion, patience, and excellent care.

Waited more than 30 minutes and had to go ask why before being seen. Saw others come in after us and were called within 10 minutes. Yes we had an appointment and came in 15 minutes early, which I did not include as part of our wait time. They were not apologetic nor very friendly, we seemed to be more of an inconvenience. I understand young children can be more difficult than an adult, especially if it is their first time, but a little more patience would go a long way.

First time there. Yoy walk in and there is 3 reception desks with signs with check-in info. I walked in with a stroller and 2 babies and was not greeted. Stood in the front between 2 reception desks 2 females sitting at each one. No one greeted me. I stood there for about 5 minutes as all the ladies working looked at me multiple times. No one ever said hello or do you need to check in? I finally asked one of the girls if I needed to pull a number or what the process was and she directed me to another desk. As I approached I was very upset as again waiting in a lobby 5 minutes with 2 babies trying to keep them calm and together. The ladies had no care for being impolite and not greeting. Rest of appoint was great fast service, very sweet dentist and gentle with my girls!

The office is decorated to be kid friendly and inviting but the staff are not as friendly. They didn’t really interact with the kids nor ease their mind about anything. They barely made eye contact or smiled. My son was terrified of the eye drops and was in panic mode and they seemed annoyed and irritated as if they’ve never had scared kids before. I assume if you are having a very straight forward appt where the child is fine with having their eyes examined and you only have one child then this place is an easy in and out type of place. I would not recommend this place for children on the spectrum or children with any kind of anxieties going in.

I have 3 children who are patients at ADVENTURE DENTAL, Vision, Ortho in ALBQ. I utilize ALL 3 services. I have had a GREAT EXPERIENCE. I especially enjoyed the front desk in Dental. Very helpful & attentive. Helped me identify issues with my insurance. I was able to edit the errors without disrupting dental service.
