Great Expressions Dental Centers - Del Prado

I booked a 9am appointment for a new patient cleaning. I understood upfront that new x-rays and a doctor consult would be part of the visit, and everyone on staff was friendly enough. But it felt like they were determined to find something wrong with my teeth. During the gum exam, the doctor kept saying how great my gums looked—until the very last spot, where she pushed unusually hard and came back with a 4. (1-3 is normal) Suddenly I was "at risk of losing that tooth." Then I was told I grind my teeth and need a mouth guard, plus possibly a few cracks. It all felt manufactured. Then came the pitch: a $700 deep cleaning, for what amounted to one problem tooth. When I said I wouldn't be getting a mouth guard, the doctor got visibly annoyed and warned me about how much damage I was supposedly doing to my teeth. After all that, they told me I was free to go—except I hadn't actually gotten the cleaning I originally came in for. When I asked about it, I was told the hygienist wouldn't be available until 12pm. I arrived at 9am. By the time I asked, it was already 10:30. 1-1/2 hours exam and no cleaning. I walked out and not one person said a word to me or even followed up with a phone call. This felt less like dental care and more like a sales funnel. Would not recommend.

I was so fortunate and excited to get a same day appointment to see the dentist, along with x-rays and teeth cleaning. Dr Beyra was exceptional! After my exam she spent over a half hour discussing dental hygiene and tailored it to my circumstances. The teeth cleaning was pain free and I couldn’t be happier. All the staff were cheerful, attentive and kind. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning!!

I was very apprehensive when I arrived because I have had a lot of trouble finding A good dentist I could trust and who was honest ever since I moved here from the Midwest. I love the doctor and everyone treated me great. now finally can have a pretty smile again someday soon and feel better thank you.

Dr. Beyra was excellent. I always have anxiety issues at the dentist. She made me feel calmer and explained everything in detail. Her staff was also great. Front of the office was top notch also. I should also note that this was my first visit and I have no problems going back

I love her. The dentist spend time with me. Explaining exactly what needed to be done. It’s all getting done. The staff is friendly and kind. Love my dentist.
