So...l am in Fort Myers/Cape Coral for the winter season. The right side of my upper permanent retainer comes detached. Ouch! A local dentist referred me to Orthodontics Exclusively. The orthodontist there re-cemented the detached end of my retainer....took maybe at most 20 minutes. Upon check out, l was charged $615.00 dollars for this reattachment....which l paid. Double Ouch! Upon my return to North Carolina the attachment had to be "redone". I informed my North Carolina orthodonist of the $615.00 charge, to which he was shocked, as he only charges $75.00 for the same procedure. Triple OUCH!
