Gentle Dental Scottsdale

Gentle dental Scottsdale location is wonderful. The front desk associate is very knowledgeable and helpful. She is always kind when calling or checking in. Michelle is my dental hygienist, and she is also knowledgeable and provides the utmost care. They usually have me in and out in 30 minutes! My teeth feel healthy and clean. Thank you !!

I was treated very well at GD and had a positive experience. My questions were answered and we created a treatment plan that made sense and affordable. Dr Sweet answered all my concerns in a very practical and logical way. They will become my permanent dental health provider. Brad

I had a negative experience here. The office was a bit disorganized and forgot to schedule my cleaning with my exam, so I had to come back multiple times. Also, I feel that they upsold me on out-of-pocket services I didn't need. I've never had a cavity and I floss almost every day. They said I needed a deep cleaning instead of the normal one for an extra $600 out of pocket. And even if that was accurate, the entire "deep" cleaning lasted about 10 minutes, which is shorter than the normal cleanings I've received elsewhere. I even asked if everything was okay afterwards because it was so short and they said it was normal. So I switched after that. I just finished an appointment at a different dentist—they didn't find any indication for me needing a deep cleaning, and the cleaning they did give me was significantly more thorough and better than the one I received here. It also didn't cost me $600.

Went in for a simple cleaning and they told me that they were going to do a 2 step / deep cleaning that was going to cost $400??? Went to another dentist in the area who said I was fine and didn’t need a deep cleaning. This new destist told me they were either trying to scam me or get more money out me. Never going back to this gentle dental ever again

Ortho tray pickup issue, do better Ortho department: I was very disappointed with my 12:30pm ortho appt on Dec. 5, at the Scottsdale location. I spoke with an ortho rep who was at the Mesa location, who scheduled and told me I can pick up my trays at the Scottsdale location. She told me that they haven’t arrived at the Tempe location so to pick them up at the Scottsdale location. I arrived, traveling from Chandler during my lunch hour only to find out my trays were at the Tempe location. Someone from the ortho service for Gentle Dental could’ve called to let me know that they transferred the trays to the Tempe location. I spend 1 1/2 hours driving to pick two trays, and a simple call to let me know someone transferred the trays to the Tempe location on Thursday, Dec. 4th. Please do better in communicating with your customers. Also, this entire situation could’ve been avoided if during my last appointment in Oct. if someone in the ortho department provided me with the correct number of trays which should’ve lasted until my Dec. 18 appointment at the Tempe location. As a paying customer, I expect quality customer service and I’m writing this review with the hope, to improve the customer experience. My suggestion moving forward, please check the number of trays during all appointments to align with the customer next appointment; and provide followup communication if applicable.
