William was very helpful — he answered all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and was professional and thorough throughout the visit. Dr. Nichols was also very nice, professional, and thorough, and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. Overall, it was a welcoming and positive experience, and I’m looking forward to continuing my care here.

The office was clean, modern, and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. The orthodontist took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions without rushing. I left feeling confident and well-informed about my treatment options. I definitely recommend them to anyone considering braces or aligners!

😠 Complaint Regarding Orthodontic Treatment and Patient Abandonment This complaint details a significant breakdown in communication, patient care, and ethical practice regarding my child's orthodontic treatment. 1. Initial Treatment and Communication Failure May 2025: Brackets were placed on my child's teeth. * Failure Point: The doctor placed the brackets before thoroughly discussing the treatment plan, or answering my critical questions, which were dismissed by the office staff. * May 2025: Immediately following the bracket placement, we were instructed to schedule extractions with an oral surgeon. * Result: The oral surgeon was booked for several months, leaving the brackets sitting on my child's teeth without any active treatment (no wires installed) during this long waiting period. 2. Failure to Provide Care * September 2025: We were seen for a follow-up appointment. * Action: The doctor merely looked at my child's teeth; no adjustments, wires, or active treatment was performed. His teeth still had not been extracted. I notifed clinic of his extraction date. * Subsequent Instruction: We were told everything was fine. December 2025 3. Abandonment of Care and Misinformation Communication of Termination: We were abruptly informed that the clinic was "not interested in servicing us" and we were told to transfer our child's care to another practice. We were told to cancel the extraction appointment. * My Inquiry: When I asked what to do if I could not find a new provider who would accept him as a transfer, the doctor stated she would remove the brackets if I could. She even brought up the possibility of tooth decay from brackets just sitting there. Mind you she is the one who put them on. * Clinic's False Justification: The clinic later claimed they could not see us anymore because it had been six months since our last visit. * Factual Correction: This is inaccurate. We were seen in May, August, September, and December (omonth the termination conversation occurred). 4. Possible Insurance Fraud * Request for Correction: I contacted the clinic to request the removal of the brackets because my insurance company instructed me to have the clinic void the prior authorization due to the lack of rendered service. * Clinic's Response: The clinic is now claiming that if they remove the brackets, it will be categorized as "end of treatment." * Conclusion: Since the only service provided was placing brackets, and no active orthodontic work was ever performed, labeling this as "end of treatment" and keeping the authorization funds would constitute insurance fraud. In summary, my child has had medically unnecessary brackets sitting on their teeth for months due to the clinic's failure to plan, communicate, and ultimately, their decision to abandon treatment without cause. Now they are refusing to remove the brackets and they will not void the prior authorization so I can go somewhere else. How can they even consider marking my prior authorization as end of treatment when treatment never even started?
