At Asheville Holistic Dentist you receive excellent Dental care. The environment is always welcoming and my hygienist does a great job and is very thorough. Dr. Pang and staff are great also.

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and was quite scared to check on a tooth, which I suspected had become infected. I’ve had a fear of the dentist for many years. Putting off making an appointment for too long only added to my anxiety of going now. However, I was greeted with such a warm energy when I checked in, some of those nerves were put to ease right away. Addison helped me with my X-rays and was present throughout my appointment. She was so comforting and wonderful, also incredibly knowledgeable when it came to pregnant patients. What a gift to have her there. When I met Doctor Pang, I could immediately tell that he really cares about helping people. He was so patient talking to me about my next steps and helping me feel comfortable enough to make appointments in the future. Even checking out was met with such a thoughtful energy. I’m so grateful to have found Asheville Holistic Dentist. If you feel fear or embarrassment of your teeth when it comes to making an appointment, know that this is a caring and kind group of professionals who will help you through it.

Being a patient in Dr. Pang's practice has taught me much about holistic medicine. He focuses on the whole being, thinking about what whole-body effects may be associated with whatever is going on in one's mouth, and considering all of these to be important and worthy of treating. His goal is to help his patients achieve the very best health they can. For me this has included treating an overburdened immune system (hidden decay, etc.) and unnecessary cardiovascular stress (sleep apnea), as well as sleep bruxism (damaged, fractured teeth--for which I had requested treatment for several years by former dentist in San Diego). The latter two have been successfully treated now for more than two years with an oral device I wear while sleeping. I'm forever grateful to Dr. Pang for his dedication to holistic health concepts! 7/18/25 - Update on Oral device for sleep apnea and bruxism: Had annual checkup a couple of days ago and saw that, over the past 2.5 years of wearing the device, not only has my extreme sensitivity to heat/cold almost disappeared, but also the general health of several teeth that were looking suspicious--and being watched carefully - are now OK. Who knew??!! Turns our if you're not putting large amounts of pressure on them night after night, the teeth get more of what they need and their health improves. WIN!!! Thank you Dr. Pang for caring enough to learn how to treat underlying causes of potentially huge problems. 7/11/26 - Among my favorite aspects of Dr.Pang's practice are his scope of knowledge paired with keen observational skills. Both of these were on full display at my recent check-up, when he highlighted a condition that could result in caries (lots of them!) or other problems. He also gave me simple self-care solutions for same, and discussed other aspects of my oral care. It's always fulfilling to benefit from the work of an expert--in my case, my overall health as well as risk factor profile have improved due to Dr. Pang's expertise and that of his staff.

I was Glad to finally find an alternative healthy dentist . I’m a new patient and was welcomed with professionalism and kindness . Any questions/concerns I’ve had are welcomed and answered in such kindness and respect , thank you! I love the availability of better and more modern procedures . I have Super sensitive teeth and the cleaning was painless! Never had such a great experience before at a dentist until now . Dr Pang was genuine and kind , he knows his stuff and that puts me at ease. And he’s humble enough to take questions, that says a lot about a person . It’s a long drive for us but it’s worth it because of the expertise he’s worked hard to acquire. I still hope he could have a satellite office in our area. ,but if he did I’d never get in because so many in my area would want to go too .
