Gentle Dental Worcester at the Trolley Yard

Hygienists and Dental Assistants are always wonderful and professional. Front desk staff are super friendly and courteous which is why I rated the 3 stars as opposed to 1 star. The Dentist on the other hand, did not handle my situation with a sense of urgency. I don’t even think she believed me or cared when I mentioned I was in severe pain from one of my teeth. I had to beg her to prescribe me pain medicine and amoxicillin, which she didn’t send to the pharmacy until after 3pm and my appointment was 11am and I left by 11:30am. She wrote tooth sensitivity on my referral but I kept telling her I was in severe pain. She couldn’t effectively tell me what was wrong and only offered a referral to a root canal specialist but wasn’t sure if I really needed a root canal. She took an xray of my tooth but was not able to give any conclusive information as to what could possibly be causing this. And didn’t spend much time in my appointment or examination at all. I felt inadequate, unheard and like I didn’t matter. It was a horrible experience. This isn’t the first time I felt my care was handled negligently by this provider. I’ve been seeing this provider for my Invisalign care for about 1.5 years now, and there was a time I needed to order new Invisalign treys in the middle of my treatment and she told me it would be just a 2 week wait. There was an administrative issue and I was without my treys for well over 3 months. To the point where my teeth seem to have reverted back to its original state before I had the Invisalign’s. I had to be the one to keep calling to figure out what the issue and delay was. It’s honestly been a nightmare coming to this practice since I’ve started the Invisalign service. Now it seems like I may have an infection or may need a root canal or may even have to have my front tooth pulled. I don’t know because my dentist was not able to give me any insight as to how to move forward other than pushing me off to someone else. Once I receive my retainers, I will swiftly be leaving this office and hopefully moving to a dental practice that handle their patients with more care. I need a dental provider I can trust to treat me like a human and not a number , and someone who will believe me when I say the problem was more than sensitivity it was debilitating tooth pain. I will be removing my family from this practice as well. It’s unfortunate because the hygienist and dental assistants are great. If you are going for just a routine cleaning you will be fine. If you need anything over and above that, Invisalign’s, cavity fill or emergency treatment. I would advise you to seek care elsewhere. Thank me later.

Amazing front desk staff! Evelize is very professional and has strong communication skills. You are always greeted with a smile upon arrival and can count on being seen on time for appointments. The facility is super clean and up to date with modern technology. The dental hygienists and dentists are respectful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Switching to Gentle Dental was the best decision I could have made. I would recommend Gentle Dental 💯.

The good news: the practice took me right away for emergency dentistry. The front desk manager is amazing. Perhaps less good news for those with hearing loss: the offices appear to be partitioned so it can be a little noisy and with sound absorption materials it can be difficult to hear the dentist and assistant. I’m grateful they took me so quickly and for the efficiency of the front desk staff.

The staff at Gentle Dental is amazing! I’ve hated going to the dentist for years but someone referred me to this place and they have completely changed my perception of the dentist. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My Dr Rida is great and I had an excellent experience at Gental dental. The staff was friendly, organized, and made the entire visit comfortable from start to finish always.
