Worcester Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Brien Hedstrom, DMD

I chose this office because their website gave the impression they offered quite a bit of services, including treating TMJ issues, but this was not my experience. I was advised to get a night guard, which honestly I was excited about. Unfortunately I was never able to get adjusted to the mouth guard and every time I tried wearing it, I had an issue where a crown would fall off. I went in for numerous adjustments and was finally told there is nothing else that can be done. I had no other solutions from this dentist regarding my issue and paid for that night guard in full, that I cannot even wear. Everything that was on the website under "services" are more for things you get referred out for. I also had a crown that just didn't feel right. My bite has been completely off since then and it was brought up a couple of times and it was dismissed. It left me feeling like the quality of work and patience concerns were not a priority. I was really hoping this office took pride in their work with all the reviews I read. I had a mobile tooth that I was very worried about. I was told by this office that it was a ligament issue and my bite was again "adjusted" and told it should be fine. I went for a second opinion and was told the tooth is fractured and an implant is needed. Dr. Hedstrom's office did not recognize the issue even after contacted directly by me and the oral surgeon to proceed with the implant process. My bite has not felt right since being seen at this office and I feel like I have a significant shift in my teeth now. If you have dental anxiety, this is not the right place. I went through a lot during my treatment and never felt reassured or supported. I'd dread calling when I had an issue and needed to come in because I felt like a burden. I reminded myself that these people were there to help me. I continued to show up when I was feeling pretty down about my dental journey but I was proud of myself for doing that. As I continued to go in and try and take care of myself, I was feeling more and more like I was not welcome in the office. The only bright spot in this office was my hygienist Amy, she was always kind, compassionate and made visits more comfortable. Unfortunately that positive experience wasn't enough to outweigh all the issues I had being a patient at this office and I had to take my care elsewhere.

Everyone at this office is always very friendly and just want what's best for you, they are real people just trying to make sure your teeth stay in the best shape possible. I stopped going to the dentist for years because the last dentist who made me feel this great about my teeth had moved away and I had a string of bad luck finding a replacement until I visited this office. Going here has made making my teeth healthy and beautiful easy and enjoyable again.

My visit to Worcester Cosmetic and Restoration Dentistry was a fabulous visit ! Dr O’Brien was great and explained everything and was so helpful and broke down the issues we need to address! Very informative and helpful and made me feel for the first time that it was not a fix one oroblem and done!! Dr. O’Brien answered my questions and we made a plan . This was so important to me! Dr. Obrien was FABULOUS!!! G (sorry not sure if this is how you spell it) was so comforting and explain what he would do and stayed with me thru my whole visit and then thru check out. This was the best visit I ever had in a dental office. I was completely comfortable and from the moment I walked in and was greeted pleasantly. All in all I am so glad I made the decision to go to Worcester Cosmetic and Restoration Dentistry. Than you all so much!!!!

My hygienist was excellent. She introduced herself and promptly washed her hands. Her attention to cleanliness was outstanding. She did an excellent job of cleaning and polishing my teeth and took X-rays as well. I can't say enough good things about her.

Love this dentist. Everyone is very professional and friendly. The office is very clean. Dr Hedstrom is great! No complaints!
