First Choice Dental- Orthodontics

I’m very disappointed with my experience here. I moved to Florida in the middle of my Invisalign treatment and notified the office that I wanted to transfer my treatment to an orthodontist in Florida. At that time, I was told I would receive a refund of around $600. After moving, I followed up twice by phone because I never received the refund. Both times, they confirmed my address and told me they would send it. The refund never came. I never ended up finding a new orthodontist in Florida because my living situation there ended up being temporary. About a year later, I moved back to the Madison area and contacted them to see if I could continue treatment instead of pursuing the refund, since I still had the same Invisalign buttons attached and had not received treatment elsewhere. I was then told I would have to repay the full original cost of Invisalign because their system showed I had still been “receiving treatment” during that time, and because I had been unresponsive they would require full payment to continue treatment. They also told me the refund would only have applied if I had officially transferred my case to another orthodontist, but nobody ever explained that requirement to me when I originally informed them I was moving or during the two follow-up calls about my refund. They said that because their system considered me to still be “receiving treatment,” the 24-month treatment window had continued running, which meant I was now outside that window and no longer eligible for the refund either. I feel like there was a major lack of communication and follow-through throughout this process. Had the requirements and deadlines been clearly explained from the beginning, I would have handled things differently.

I have worked with Dr. Taylor and his fabulous team for two years. Today, I graduated!! They are so thoughtful, caring and professional. I appreciate Dr. Taylor's desire for perfection ;). I love my new smile and can't thank them enough!!!!

Well since I have to take care of my teeth this place will do? Front desk doesn't want to be there. Everything takes forever. Overcharged $200 and I'm the one that noticed, they gave me a credit instead of a refund. All depends who you see: some people don't care you're there and some go above and beyond.

Dr. Kyle Taylor & Team are exceptional. My daughter's whole experience with braces was surprisingly pleasant. It's always welcoming and comforting entering the office with all of the wonderful staff.

Our dental insurance changed between the consultation appointment and when we were to start treatments. As a result, the clinic wants to charge me $300.00 for copies of the X-rays to be sent to an in-network provider. Bonkers.
