Maddux Orthodontics

My daughter raved about this place and got her braces there. I was looking for better alignment with my lower teeth, 40 years removed from my retainers.. so I checked them out. The experience was fantastic. The staff is very friendly, explained my options and Dr. Maddux sits in on the free consult. For the actual fitting, Savanna explained the whole process and did a great job working along with Dr Maddux. The facility is very clean and uses the latest tech so I remain very impressed. Great job everyone!

Great staff, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Dr. Maddox. In my opinion, Dr. Maddox may be a good fit for people who simply need minor straightening, but I personally did not feel that my more complicated concerns were properly addressed. When I asked about the gaps in my teeth or why my pontic/fake tooth could not be made to match the appearance of my other teeth, I was told that he was not an oral surgeon. I understand that orthodontists and oral surgeons have different specialties, but I still felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than explained or addressed with a clear plan. Appointments with Dr. Maddox were also extremely brief. It often felt like he spent a minute or less with me, and I did not feel that my teeth or concerns were thoroughly checked. I also witnessed him become frustrated with another patient who was asking questions about their bite, which made me feel even more uncomfortable speaking up about my own concerns. Before coming to this office, I had braces for five years and wore an appliance. My teeth were straight and properly pulled together, but after losing my retainer, I went to Dr. Maddox hoping he could help correct the shifting. I still have several gaps, and when I asked about fixing them, I was made to feel uncomfortable for even bringing it up. I understand that not every orthodontic issue can be solved by one doctor or with one treatment plan. However, I expected my concerns to be taken seriously and clearly explained. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The staff was great, but I personally left feeling unheard and disappointed with the care I received.

We love Dr. Maddux! From his front desk staff to technicians, everyone is so helpful and supportive. My girls absolutely love coming to their appointments and the incentives they receive for good braces hygiene motivate them on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Dr. Maddux. It is a well oiled machine!

Amazing service and experience! Throughout my 2 something year experience with them, they've really shown their excellence. From the service to the atmosphere, this place makes you feel like you're at the beach - but you're actually next to an old landfill (Mt. Trashmore). They've been transparent about everything from pricing to procedures, making me feel like a real orthodontist! They also gamified dental hygiene, with a spinner wheel and a prize lottery. I only gave this place a 5-star review because Google says I can't give it 6.

I was referred to Maddux Orthodontics by my dentist for teeth straightening and had my consult today. It was a great experience! The whole process with x-rays and photos was smooth and fast! Grace was absolutely amazing and very sweet and informative! Dr. Maddux was great as well, very to the point and informative as well! I am starting my Invisilign soon and I am very happy and feel very secure with going through this process with the team! Thank you and I look forward to this journey!! Highly recommend!
