I went to Somos Dental yesterday to have a back molar extracted. I will be very honest, I was petrified to be there. The staff did a great job at making me comfortable during the operation. Dr. Alex did an amazing job at removing this molar and talking me all the way through the operation. I’ve never had a tooth removed without any major damage to my gums except for yesterday. There was no unnecessary cutting into my gums to remove the molar. Yes of course there’s a hole that’s healing from the tooth removal, but no excess damage beyond that. Although this was an extraction, there was no real pain during the operation either, just noise. They numbed my mouth very well. I am very impressed with the work of Dr. Alex and the rest of his team, the folks I met and interacted with were all very compassionate. Although going to the dentist is quite scary to me, if I have to go to the dentist again, this will be where I go. I would absolutely recommend them.👌🏼 next time I’ll bring my headphones to avoid the dental tool noises.😅

Today was my first time and I was very thankful they fit me in with short notice. The staff was very courteous. Dr Kaur was working so hard juggling all patients along with her assistants. Super hardworking people. I was there longer than expected but didn’t mind. They were all doing their best.

I am writing this review to warn others. I came to this dental office in October 2025 for treatment on one tooth, including a crown, deep cleaning, and a filling, all of which were recommended by the office. At that time, I was told my tooth was in perfect condition. After the crown was placed, I developed constant and severe pain and sensitivity, especially at night. This pain did not exist before the crown. I returned to the office on and clearly reported my symptoms. The dentist checked briefly without taking X-rays or proper diagnostic scans and told me everything was “fine.” I asked multiple times whether there could be a problem under the crown and was repeatedly reassured there was not. In addition, I want to mention the deep cleaning experience, which was extremely concerning. The female doctor performed the cleaning very fast and extremely rough. Even after two numbing injections, I was still in severe pain. She pulled my mouth very hard and rushed through the procedure. At one point she said something “needed to be removed,” then later said nothing else needed to be done. I did not see any improvement after the cleaning — only significant pain. As another serious issue, one of my front upper crowns fell off about one month later, and I was told I would need to pay for a brand-new crown. The pain continued for months. When I returned again and they finally took X-rays, I was told I now have an infection and need a root canal costing about $1,000 more. At the same time, the office denied any responsibility, saying their crown was “fine.” This is extremely concerning. A tooth that was healthy before treatment became infected only after multiple procedures performed by this office, yet they refuse to take responsibility and instead expect the patient to pay more for the consequences. Because I no longer felt safe, I went to an endodontist for a second opinion. After proper examination, they confirmed infection under the crown placed by this office and identified dark areas suspicious for spreading infection, both on the top and bottom. I was told I now need extensive treatment, with an estimated cost of over $8,000. I am now stuck with an infected tooth, a fallen crown, and massive unexpected costs. I tried calling this dental office to explain the situation, but no one returned my calls. I will never return to this place. Dental care should be about patient safety, proper diagnosis, and responsibility, not rushing procedures and denying mistakes. If a business operates this way, patients end up paying not only with money, but with their health. Honestly, this has been one of the worst experiences of my life, and I strongly advise others to be very careful before choosing this dental office.

This was my ever first free dental consultation with Samos. It was the state of the art show. Starting from the the reception to the dental assistant, the coordinator and finally the dentist Dr Kaur were all at the top level of intellect. The xrays, the aseptic technics and the dental clinical examination was at its highest level. They left no room unturned to satisfy my needs, the procedures and their outcome including the costs.
