I cannot say enough good things about this practice. We’ve been seeing them going on three years now and my kids have always been treated with complete respect, compassion, and autonomy. My son has had several dental issues and has always done very well when they’ve had to pull teeth or fill cavities. He actually far prefers them to any other facility we’ve been to. He isn’t redheaded, but most definitely has the gene as I am redheaded and so is his sister. This practice takes that very seriously when it comes to numbing and making darn sure their patients are comfortable before they start any work. This is really where the autonomy comes into play. My son has told them, no, I'm not numb yet and they’ve listened regardless of what protocols and typical patients may need, they don’t proceed until he gives them the green light. Super nice people from the front desk to the hygienists, to the dentists, to the checkout person. We’ve always had truly amazing interactions with the entire office. Their dentists also are conservative, yet tell you exactly what really needs to be done; they’ve never tried to upsell or tell us to do more than what each of my children have honestly needed. Even just today, both kids said the last time they were seen the scaling hurt a bit, so the hygienists took that feedback and today both kids got up and said, oh that was so much better this time. My kids do not fear the dentist, in fact, most times they really enjoy coming as they do get rewarded at the end of the visit. This office also allows parents back to provide comfort, even during procedure visits and this has come in clutch for my son. Him being able to hold my hand really puts his anxiety at a much lower level than if he didn’t have me for support. Again, this office really and truly is top notch and I appreciate their partnership so much. We will continue to be patients for many years to come!

Going to the dentist has become one of the highlights of my kids’ year! Everyone is extremely friendly, kind, and attentive. Both the hygienists and Dr. Mauney “Dr. Chuck” have taken the time to fully address any of my concerns. They’re efficient and my kids like sitting side by side during their cleaning appointments. The clinic space has natural light and is very welcoming.

The office is clean, professional, and family-friendly, and every visit runs smoothly. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about their patients and wants children to have positive experiences at the dentist. I’m so grateful we found Clifton and Mauney.
