Sitwell Dental Albany

I sought care at Sitwell Dental for two cracked posterior molars caused by Invisalign-related stress. I specifically asked about onlays but was steered toward fillings—without being told they were unlikely to last. Both failed within six months. When I later saw my primary dentist (who specializes in in-office onlay fabrication), he discovered the original filling had never been properly removed—material was simply placed over a compromised tooth. No structural correction was done. The clinical issues were compounded by an office culture that was dismissive and aggressive. When I questioned paying for failed work, a staff member contacted my assistant with an inappropriate, condescending attitude. The entitlement was palpable throughout the office. I also left with concerns about insurance billing accuracy and the treatment of patients. Dental care requires precision, accountability, and respect—especially for patients with dental trauma. This practice fell short on all three.

I’m so thankful for finding SitWell dental. Not one time was I scolded or made feel bad about the state of my teeth, or the fact I need a lot of work done. Some places do that, not Sitwell. They understood what I needed to get taken care of at the moment to feel better, and just that. I really enjoyed Dr.Godi and her assistant, they were compassionate and cared. I would highly recommend. ☺️
