I recently needed 2 cavities filled and had them done by Dr. Sara Najam and Assistant Tayia. They thoroughly explained everything they were going to do and doing in the moment to keep me informed. They also ensured I was comfortable and listened to me when I was still feeling pain when filling the cavity. I highly recommend these wonderful professionals, if you're looking for reliable and trustworthy dental care.

After moving to the Albany area in early 2021, I hadn't been to a dentist until about a month ago when I started experiencing severe pain in my lower right teeth. I called several local offices, but none of them could accommodate an emergency. Fortunately, Sitwell Dentistry on Everett Road told me they could fit me in the very next day. From check-in to check-out, this turned out to be the best-run dental office I’ve ever visited. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I was examined by Dr. Sara Najam, who explained that the two teeth needed to be extracted, but we first needed to treat the underlying infection with antibiotics. When I returned a week later for the extractions, I was highly impressed by how accommodating they are for patients with dental anxiety, which I have. The office features relaxing videos on TVs and they even offer sunglasses to help reduce the bright overhead lighting. Having had extractions in the past, I can say this went much better than any previous experience. Dr. Najam explained exactly what she was going to do before starting and expertly applied the local anesthetic. I didn't feel a bit of discomfort during the entire procedure, even though one of the teeth was a bit stubborn! Their post-op care advice was spot-on, and I only needed a mix of Tylenol and ibuprofen for the first two days. Needless to say, I am now a regular patient. I just completed my first routine visit yesterday for a very thorough cleaning, fluoride treatment, and comprehensive exam, where they gave me a detailed explanation of my future treatment plan. I highly recommend Sitwell Dentistry for all your dental needs—they have completely redefined dental care for me.

This place is amazing. Previous dentist have left me with some anxiety. The staff were professional and friendly. Helped me and my husband get appointments on the same day. Molly was thorough and gentle with my cleaning. Super friendly and listened to my concerns. I highly recommended going here!

I Went to this appointment skeptical it was my first time my insurance changed and this was a new Dentist. The office staff is friendly. The hygienist are extremely helpful and make you feel at ease. The Dentist is phenomenal my hats off to this group. I look forward to my association with you.

I sought care at Sitwell Dental for two cracked posterior molars caused by Invisalign-related stress. I specifically asked about onlays but was steered toward fillings—without being told they were unlikely to last. Both failed within six months. When I later saw my primary dentist (who specializes in in-office onlay fabrication), he discovered the original filling had never been properly removed—material was simply placed over a compromised tooth. No structural correction was done. The clinical issues were compounded by an office culture that was dismissive and aggressive. When I questioned paying for failed work, a staff member contacted my assistant with an inappropriate, condescending attitude. The entitlement was palpable throughout the office. I also left with concerns about insurance billing accuracy and the treatment of patients. Dental care requires precision, accountability, and respect—especially for patients with dental trauma. This practice fell short on all three.
