Pediatric Dentistry of Albany

Took my daughter here for a tooth extraction, and I had a lot of anxiety due to a bad experience with a different dentist. When I tell you from beginning to end, they were patient, kind and definitely made sure my baby felt comfortable and was in good hands. She didn’t cry not once and neither did I 😅.

Staff and doctor are nice when we are actually seen. We had to switch because this practice does not respond to multiple email or call requests stretching 6 months (you can call back repeatedly to ensure something promised was actually completed and it’s way better than using email). If they fixed this one negative aspect, I would agree the other positive reviews.

My son had a cavity that required a tooth extraction, and the entire team was incredibly informative, patient, and kind throughout the process. Everyone took the time to reassure him and interact with him in a way that made him feel safe and comfortable. I am extremely pleased with the care, compassion, and attention my son received during his appointment. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The first time my son had an appointment here we had to wait 3 hours to be seen. The second and last time we came here our appointment was at 10:30, and we didn’t get called back until 11:20. They don’t abide by appointment times, and they call people back who showed up after you. My son has Tri-Care insurance, and it doesn’t even matter. 100/100 don’t recommend

Was getting a bit frustrated at first when I got in. Since a few weeks before my son had missed his appointment, bo fault of Pediatric Dentistry of Albany. So I was running late for the appointment initially, and so I tried calling to see if we'd be seen, since we were running late. But for more than 30 minutes I called and the phone just kept ringing and giving automated messages. When I got there, for sure the receptionist told us we wouldn't be able to get any service that day, because the oral hygienist had left for the day. As I said, I am no point blaming any staff for missing the appointment. But if someone had picked up the phone during that 30 minutes, it could have saved us the trip. Every minute of driving is crucial, especially with the with the ridiculously high gas prices. However I rescheduled, and I was very pleased with the professionalism and patience of the dental hygienist my son saw that day. She made our day felt worthwhile. A big thank you to her for the care my son received that day.
