Blessed to be a part of the Petrous Orthodontics family! Wanting your smile to be perfect is a wonderful thing after all, it’s the very first thing people see when they look at you. Having had braces in the past that still left me with crooked teeth, I knew I needed a team I could truly trust. From my very first visit for X-rays and financial consultation, to sitting down with Dr. Petrous, I knew I was in the right hands. Dr. Petrous was honest with me right from the start. He explained that due to a skeletal issue, a 100% "perfect" smile wasn't realistic and that I would still have a mild misalignment. Even with that knowledge, I felt so confident in his care and honesty that I decided to invest in my treatment and I am so glad I did. My journey ended up taking four years instead of two, mostly because I wasn't as diligent with my rubber bands as I should have been. Take it from me: wear your rubber bands 24/7! I'll never forget the day one of the dentists gave me some tough love. She looked at me and said, "You've been here too long, and you need to wear your bands." I was emotional that day, but the truth hurts, and I deeply respect and thank her for caring enough to keep it real with me. Now, I just got the most incredible news my braces are coming off in a week, and I’m moving on to retainers! My smile turned out far beyond what I expected. The entire team at Petrous Orthodontics is loving, incredible, and genuinely supportive: ⭐️When I’m stuck in traffic, I can literally tell Siri to call Petrous, and the front desk staff warmly reassures me: No worries, drive safe! If I text them, instead of canceling my appointment, they’ll shift me back 15 minutes without making me feel stressed. ⭐️Whenever I needed a boost, I would ask the orthodontic assistants to write down encouraging words for me. Those notes kept me motivated throughout this long process. Pro-tips for anyone starting out: Avoid popcorn, hard candy, and sticky sweets, brush religiously and floss, after meals, and wear those rubber bands! I am truly blessed to have found Petrous Orthodontics. You aren't just another patient on a schedule here you are treated like family. We were incredibly impressed with the care our son received at Petrous Orthodontics. He needed both an expander and braces, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. The office staff is extremely friendly, and my son especially loved seeing their dogs, Harvest and Marty, at each visit. What some kids might dread, he actually looked forward to. Every appointment felt welcoming. The team explained every step clearly, made sure we understood the process, and took wonderful care of us throughout treatment. Today was my Son’s first visit to get his upper expander placed, and the experience could not have been better! The staff was incredible from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Tyla took her time with my Son, answering all of his (and my) questions about his new expander. She was so professional, patient, and friendly. Esli was awesome with his Brothers and kept them entertained with stickers while they waited—such a thoughtful thing! At checkout, Cathy answered our last-minute questions, spoke directly to my Son to reassure him, and made sure I left with the text question phone number and all the information we needed. I had an excellent experience with Joleyana during my orthodontic treatment. She was professional, knowledgeable, and always made me feel comfortable throughout every visit. After this extensive but fun process, I’m finally removing my braces today!!! I greatly appreciate their kind, supportive, and caring service.
