About Orthodontic Experts Chicago
Braces treatment dominates the caseload here, with Dr. Brian Reyes and staff often described as gentle enough to ease anxious kids and adults through adjustments.
This practice handles a high volume of braces cases, and reviews often single out the gentle, careful way brackets and wires are placed and adjusted, even for patients who arrive nervous. Dr. Brian Reyes comes up by name for thorough, caring treatment, and coordinators are credited with walking families through what to expect at each visit. Some reviews describe insurance paperwork and billing as a source of frustration, including denied claims tied to documentation issues and retainer costs that changed after work had already started.

Cynthia was very nice kind and gave me lots of advice and insight on my braces.
Cynthia was very nice, caring and safe I always enjoy my visit when I come. I recommend Cynthia every time she’s awesome and efficient.
I highly recommend this place the hospitality is great from the front desk assistance to the back room with the orthodontist everyone is nice and patient with the customer and the environment is very clean and comfortable, i personally like Stephanie she’s very helpful and is great at her job also very friendly and finds the best way to accommodate you as well as the other workers so choose orthodontist experts!!
Be very cautious scheduling an appointment here. You can tell most of these reviews are fake/bought (another review mentioned the office crediting $100 for treatment in exchange for a 5-star review). I lost a retainer a few years ago and wanted to discuss with an orthodontist/this office the amount of time and type of treatment it would take to get a retainer, but they refused to even start a consultation without getting an X-ray first. I mentioned that I was fine with getting one if, after an initial consultation, I decided that I wanted to proceed with care, but the orthodontist refused to even come out and see me unless I got an X-ray first. That’s pretty rude and unethical if you ask me: I can’t imagine having a customer make an appointment (which could involve taking off work) and then demanding that she be shot with radiation before I was willing to have a conversation with her 😂 This type of behavior is so shameful in the dental field in general—it’s just a matter of wanting to bill the insurance for an X-ray (something that, as a patient, you don’t want to do unless you have a good medical reason for it). Thankfully, I never started treatment and wasn’t having a child go through treatment here. But I’d warn all the parents: if they were more interested in billing an unnecessary X-ray than giving me a quick consultation, I’d be very concerned about what tests/imaging/treatment they’d be scamming me for if I actually were a patient with a plan of care. Don’t take the risk and don’t fall for the fake reviews; there are plenty of orthodontists out there who don’t give the impression of a sleazy used car salesmen that cares more about making a quick buck than providing you or your child with quality care.
