A Reason to Smile

I loved this place. We were on vacation and I broke a tooth and was in a lot of pain. They got me an appointment for the same day. The Dr. Archibald was great!!!!! He explained the problem and what needed to be done to stop the pain. His nurse was also great as she explained what I would feel and hear during the procedure. I felt as if they both truly cared about what I was going through and was very patient with me. The office staff was friendly and very open about my insurance and payment for my procedure. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs a caring dental team. I give them a 5+ star rating.

BEST. DENTAL. EXPERIENCE. EVER. I'm in Boise for a work trip and had to schedule an emergency dental appointment because of intense pain in my jaw. Kat, my hygienist, was so kind, caring, and gentle. Dr. Archibald immediately knew what was wrong – I needed to get my wisdom tooth removed! He walked me through options for next steps and said that they could remove it during that same appointment. Such a fast, painless procedure. Literally the best experience I've ever had at a dentist! A Reason to Smile was a HUGE blessing for me.

Just had my first appointment to establish care yesterday. Had an awesome experience with my hygienist Ri and their new dentist Dr. Archibald. Appreciated how thorough Ri was. She was funny and helped me feel comfortable right away, and got my teeth very shiny! Dr. Archibald spent plenty of time with me identifying areas to watch vs areas to take care of right away. I appreciated his measured approach and thoughtful analysis. Great group of people. Glad I found them!

I cannot begin to describe how impressed I am with A Reason to Smile dentistry. I had an urgent need and I was accommodated quickly. My problem was fixed the same day as my appointment. UPDATE: I recently met Dr Archibald (Dr Smith retired) and I was further impressed by him as a dentist by his advice for future treatments. I have to mention Mercedes, too, my dental hygienist. I am so fortunate to have found this practice!

Amazing experience from start to finish. I came in and ended up needing a crown, and Dr Smith was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood my options, and took the time to educate me throughout the process, which I really appreciated. The work itself was smooth and comfortable. Melissa was also incredibly helpful getting everything set up and making the entire visit stress-free. She’s probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Truly a 10/10 experience — highly recommend!
