I had an excellent experience with my dental implant! Dr. Ha is an outstanding doctor—very knowledgeable, gentle, and made the entire process completely painless. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I want to give a special shout-out to Yodin for the excellent service and care. Great bedside manner, top-notch service, and the office uses modern, up-to-date technology. Plus, free parking and a very convenient location. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. John HA for couple years now, and undergoing dental treatment in the pass has always been a unpleasant experience for me. This is mainly because I have often found myself on the receiving end of doctors' conversations, where they would inform me that I need surgery to fix my teeth, but in a way that made me feel belittled and ashamed. However, after finally deciding to get dental implants, I chose to go with Dr. HA after reading positive reviews. I approached this decision with the mindset that if I felt judged or criticized about the condition of my teeth, I would seek treatment elsewhere. From my very first consultation to the permanent implantation of my implants, Dr. HA and his staff have truly made this surgery the best decision of my life. For nearly two years, I have been traveling from the Big Island to Oahu to receive my treatments. I understood that if I wanted to regain a sense of normalcy, and be able to eat and smile confidently, I had to trust that the staff would make the right decisions and guide me in the correct direction, as I had no knowledge of the process. The front office staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always being flexible with scheduling and accommodating my family when necessary. The dental assistants made me feel like a friend rather than just a customer, and Dr. HA himself took the time to explain the entire operation process from start to finish. He also discussed additional measures to ensure that I felt confident in achieving the results I desired. I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. HA and his staff for their invaluable assistance throughout my procedures. Best dental establishment hands down!!.

Doctor Ha and his staff are simply the best in professional customer service. Visiting the dentist has always scared me, but my experience with Shawn, Jan, and everyone at Honolulu Smile Design treated me as if I was their main focus every time I visited.

Honolulu Smile Design is awesome! Dr. Ha and his team are professional, friendly and so organized. I've been to a handful of dentists (inHin and California) and Honolulu Smile Design has made me feel the most comfortable (and who can say that about a dentist?!). The scheduling process is very easy - communication is clear, easy and fast. I especially appreciate seeing one hygienist each time (Jessica!) who is very knowledgeable. Dr. Ha is very thorough, explains everything clearly and doesn't push or sell procedures (which I've experienced at other dentists). And best of all everyone is so kind, nice and make the experience of going to the dentist painless.
