My daughter had her consultation appointment today with Dr. Varone and Sally. The entire experience was great. We look forward to starting her Invisalign in 3 weeks. Dr. Varone is the best in the area!

This office is a masterclass in making you be ignored, blamed, and financially cornered mid-treatment, hiding behind policy, and prioritizing revenue. I strongly urge anyone considering Varone Orthodontics and to go elsewhere. Varone Orthodontics closed my Invisalign case without notifying me in any way — no phone call, no email, no text, no voicemail. I was never warned that my case was at risk of being closed or that I would be forced to restart treatment if I didn’t come in. I was simply allowed to lose my treatment without notice. I fully acknowledge that I did not come in or reschedule for a period of time. That does not excuse the complete lack of communication after I paid thousands of dollars. One clear voicemail stating, “Your case will be closed if you don’t respond,” would have prevented everything. That never happened. When I raised this concern, they claimed they had “call logs.” I explained that the only calls I ever received were appointment rescheduling calls — never a warning that my case would be closed. If I had been told even once that my treatment would be terminated and I would be forced to repay, I would have come in immediately and finished treatment. Their response was dismissive and revealing. I was met with comments like “How long do you expect us to keep it open?” When I stated clearly that I was never notified my case was closing, the response was silence. No explanation. No accountability. I was told my plan was intended to be 24 months, which I understand. But delays happen in real life. What makes this even worse is that I was told the case could have remained open if I had come in before closure, but I was never told it was about to close. When I finally came in to finish treatment and just expect a rescan, the very first thing I was told was essentially: “It’s closed. Too late. You need a new comprehensive plan.” No review of my file. No discussion. No attempt to help. Just an immediate push toward repaying for treatment because I already used my free rescan when other places use unlimited or multiple rescans/refinements in a comprehensive plan. After this experience, I did my own research and consulted multiple top-rated orthodontic offices to understand what happened. Every single one asked why I was there for a consult, and several openly stated that it was shocking how poorly this was communicated. I was also told — repeatedly — that Invisalign cases can be reopened for a fee in many situations. I brought this information back to Varone Orthodontics and explicitly stated that I was willing to pay the reopening fee. Despite this, they refused to help or escalate, citing “office policy,” and would not budge under any circumstances. From that point forward, every interaction was met with attitude, deflection, and a clear unwillingness to assist unless I agreed to repay in full. Any sense of patient care disappeared once money became the focus. Based on how this was handled, it is impossible not to conclude that this office chose profit over fairness. This experience cost me progress, time, extra money, and months of unnecessary stress and anxiety. It completely destroyed my trust in this office. If you value communication, ethics, and being treated like a patient instead of a transaction, do not ever choose Varone Orthodontics.
