Comfortable Care Dental

I brought my mom here because Dr. LoSecco was in network under her plan and I saw all the great reviews. The experience was very positive knowing that my mom's teeth had issues. Dr LoSecco came up with a plan for fixing my mom's teeth issues. All of her staff, including the front desk, X-Ray technician and hygenists were so welcoming and caring throughout the entire appointment. I appreciate great experiences like this one, especially when going to the dentist can be scary. They have state of the art equipment and technology and the first appointment was extremely thorough and each staff member took the time to explain to her the work they were going to perform, which made my mom more relaxed. Oh and Wally, the golden doodle therapy dog, greets you and is adorable! A definite bonus to making patients feel more comfortable. Thank you!

Amazing experience from Dr Losecco (who is very knowledgeable and professional) on down. The whole staff was amazing to work with. Heather did an amazing, professional job with the in office teeth whitening machine. (I suggest everyone try it). Extremely Misleading Advertising I received a postcard in the mail from Comfortable Care Dental advertising a $99 Cleaning, Exam & X-rays special. It looked like a straightforward, affordable offer, so I booked an appointment. When I arrived, they performed a bunch of services and then handed me a statement showing $318 in charges — including a $202 oral hygiene instruction, comprehensive evaluation, scaling, etc. None of this matched the simple $99 cleaning I thought I was getting based on their marketing. But the whole experience felt very manipulative. The postcard is clearly designed to get people in the door with a low price, only to hit them with a much higher bill even though I kept reminding them about the card they and sent, they were like yeah it’s going to be only $99 but you need to get this and that done, completely wasted my time and energy. This is not honest marketing. I felt bait-and-switched. If the $99 special only covers the absolute bare minimum and they plan to recommend (and charge for) a bunch of extras, they should be upfront about it instead of making it look like a great deal. Disappointed and won’t be returning.

STOP and Use a different Dentist!! I would give zero stars if I could. I went in expecting a professional evaluation, but instead felt like I was given a questionable diagnosis followed immediately by a high-pressure sales pitch. They pushed a “today only” price versus waiting until the next visit, which honestly felt very uncomfortable and not how healthcare decisions should be handled. They ended up Miss diagnosing my issue and still took my money. The entire appointment lasted about 15 minutes, yet I was still charged $200. For that amount of time and the experience I had, it felt completely unjustified. Overall, this felt more like a sales environment than a place focused on patient care. I WOULD NOT recommend Comfortable Care Dental to anyone looking for honest, straightforward dental advice.

I have had a partial (from a different dentist) that replaced two teeth for many years. Dr. Losecco suggested and made a sturdier partial for me. It is sooo much lighter, fits better, and feels much more like my natural teeth than my previous partial:) I’ve also had several cleanings at Comfortable Care at 3150 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, FL. The staff at this location are all very professional but also very caring, friendly, and gentle. They also have an emotional support helper named Wally who is exceptional:) I highly recommend Comfortable Care!!
