Charles Kim Dentistry - Downtown Tacoma Dentist

These folks make going to the dentist an absolute pleasure. I don't think I have ever encountered a more competent staff. I've gone to this office for a couple of years now and gotten cleanings, fillings, scans, etc. Dr. Kim and the entire care team (shout out to all of y'all especially Maggie and Natalie) take time to not only hear about concerns, but also explain options for addressing concerns. They are also pretty funny. I love how they all have a real consent-oriented approach to patient interactions. Dr. Kim does a great job of explaining what is going on before and during procedures and then follows-up to make sure things went smoothly during aftercare. I have never felt pressured to do something I didn't want to or to purchase a service that felt unnecessary. The admin (shout out Emily) is so thorough with explaining insurance/cost/payment as well as providing helpful reminders! Everyone on staff is so personable, kind, and good at their jobs. The office is also straight up beautiful and very conveniently located. They even provide designated patient parking spots which really eases my anxiety about having to fight for street parking while trying to get to an appointment on time. Hell, even their complimentary lip balm is pretty bomb! It's clear how much care and effort these folks have put into mitigating a lot of the headaches that come along with healthcare. Also, Dr. Kim, I know you're reading this! Please give your whole team a raise cuz they deserve it for being amazing! 😜😌

I cannot say enough good things. Best dentist I have ever had. The staff are super friendly, the pricing is fair, and Dr. Kim takes pride in his work. All around exceptional service. It’s also the most beautiful dentist office I have gone to. I enjoy sitting inside and looking at the views of downtown.

I had the pleasure of getting a deep cleaning and a filling done by the team at Charles Kim Dentistry. Sara, my dental hygienist made sure I was comfortable and was not in any form of pain or discomfort the entire process. Dr. Kim made sure to check in to make sure all was going well in between too. Every procedure was done seamlessly, professionally and with the patient’s comfort in mind. I’m very happy I found Dr. Kim and his team. Highly recommend choosing them!

Dr. Charles Kim and his team have done an outstanding job making sure I was comfortable and very well taken care of. Never had to much of an issue with the dentist but I have never looked forward to it. I had quite a bit of work done in the past couple of months and it has been nothing short of outstanding. Not only did Dr.Kim and his team do an awesome job with the dental work they were all extremely kind, and made sure I was taken care of. I no longer dread going to the dentist lol ! Thank you guys again ! 10/10 would recommend.

When I moved to Tacoma, I was just looking for a dentist within walking distance of where I live downtown...I'm so grateful Charles Kim Dentistry just happened to be the closest! I got so lucky finding this dental office. The team is just the absolute best. They always take their time and answer all my questions. I grew up with really poor health habits and zero dental care, so it's very important to me to have a dentistry team that really cares about helping me take care of myself for the long haul. Now I have my whole family going to Dr. Charlie and Crew!
