Apple Valley Dental & Braces

Dental side is amazing but the orthodontics side is horrible. The doctor told me and my daughter that she had a choice to do a pallet expander or just go into braces. Originally, my daughter was going to do the expander but changed her mind. (She's 16) The orthodontist then said he wouldn't treat her at all if she wasn't going to do it. I an now taking her where I got my braces, and the doctor there is willing to do braces without the expander. Don't see how they can refuse treatment to my daughter when i'm paying out of pocket and we both said we were aware that her bite would not be perfect when finished. The doctor wanted her smile to be the way he wanted it to be without considering her wants in the process. Very disappointed. And the price I was willing to pay for them to do it was going to be double the price I am now going to pay taking her somewhere else.

The office and all the dental assistants are amazing. I don’t have a lot but of nice things to say about the company as a whole; but the office itself and the assistant staff are truly amazing. Orthodontist has changed on me twice since I started my ortho journey in 2023. That’s a new orthodontist every year. Every time a new doctor comes in, my care plan changes. But I cannot see my care plan without doing a record request for my own records. I’m paying for this myself 100% and the level of care has decreased significantly in the past 17 months.

My daughter and I had a great experience friendly staff, it's very kid friendly. The environment was made for kids. My daughter normally gets anxiety and her anxiety level was not bad at all.

I love it here and so do my two feral toddlers. The play area is great, the dentists are great, scheduling also great. Fantastic office.

We were trying to check in and the front desk lady was chatting a lot even tho there was ppl waiting to check in. When we finally got to check in we still had to wait because the front desk was not done with scheduling. When we were checking out and scheduling next appointments the front desk lady got the information confused and we had to correct her. Typically we don’t complain because everyone has a bad day but she seemed to target us after our first initial interaction.
