Leone & Vaughn Orthodontics

I'm not sure how I feel about Leone and Vaugh. They have several offices and the work itself is fine, but their staff leave much to be desired. My daughter has done Phase I braces there for a year, and then now is only there for 1-2 years to get her Invisalign treatment. In this short time, I've been called 3 times the day of, letting me know they're short staffed and I need to reschedule, or I can keep my appointment and wait and just hope we'll be seen in a timely manner. Normally I've been flexible, but this particular appointment was sandwiched between other appointments. After some frustration with rescheduling they let me know I can keep my appointment. I specially want to call out Junior who was rude to me, and then Billy the office manager for rushing me off the phone after making me jump through all of the hoops to keep my appointment after they threaten that I will be waiting for a long time since the assistant assigned would be juggling my daughter and 2 other patients at the same time. If they were truly calling just to "ask" if I could change my appointment, then my answer of "no" should have been a full sentence without the threat. Now I'm wondering if I even want to put my daughter through an appointment where the provider juggles 3 patients at the same time! In this world where everyone is busy, I just feel that being treated kindly and with more respect for my time is not asking for too much. Previously, when I had the flexibility I was more than happy to reschedule, but this one time where they said I had to come in this particular week for her treatment, but then the reschedule would be a whole month later makes me lose trust in their treatment plan. I've now read some of the other lower reviews and I do agree with the others. While their actual orthodontic work is fine, you do feel as if you are in an assembly line. In the grand scheme of their operations, one family probably doesn't matter too much to them, but I realize I am the advocate for my family. My opinion is that they are just over extended with only with 2 orthodontists in 3 offices, and my family could be better served elsewhere.

I was referred to Leone & Vaughn by my dentist. At the initial consultation I was told I was too old (age 40) to have my overbite corrected and that the best they could do was straighten my teeth a little. They also told me I was a candidate for Invisalign. Having never seen an orthodontist before, I took them at their word. I had a few follow-up questions after the appointment, mostly regarding payment and what would happen if I relocated during treatment and had to transition to another provider. The sales person quickly stopped answering my questions, and sensing a lack of transparency I looked for another orthodontist. At the second orthodontist, my age was never raised as a challenge and I was told I was absolutely NOT a candidate for Invisalign - that my overbite could be corrected but required more traditional braces. They modelled the treatment plan and explained everything in detail. They never had a problem answering questions and told me to pay month-to-month in case I had to relocate. I proceeded with the second orthodontist and traditional braces. It has been 2-years and I just got my braces off. My overbite is corrected, proving I am indeed NOT too old. Leone & Vaughn aren't concerned with treating patients' concerns, they are in it for the quickest and easiest way to make money.

I have the Invisalign braces and have had excellent care at Leone and Vaughn in the Madison Park office. Staff is prompt, instructions are clear and your next appointment is scheduled after visit. Well trained staff and orthodontist is very thorough. A++. 😊

We have had such a great experience with our son's orthodontic journey! Everyone here is so kind and informative, it's a beautiful office, and the post-visit cookies are always a hit with our kid :)

Rarely has a healthcare professional treated me in such a credible manner characterized by candor and transparency. While I have been fortunate in meeting and using others who treat me so, in my experience they are rare indeed.
