Huge shout out to Jill- a life safer. Our daughter had her braces placed and the wire was a bit too strong/ sticking out after initial placement and she was in quite a bit of pain post appointment. We had a small window to fix the wire and Jill was there at the right time. She handled mom ( myself, a bit frantic) and daughter so well. She put a new wire in and was so gracious. She even called at the end of the day to see how our daughter was doing- really kind. Even my daughter, after I told her Jill called to check in - said "Mom, I knew she cared about me even though it was uncomfortable to get things fixed." Thank you, Jill- so much!

My family has been with this orthodontic group since 2008 when it was still known as Quinn Orthodontics. We all greatly appreciate the phenomenal orthodontists, especially Dr. Quinn and Dr. Smart. My only qualm is with some of their staff. Back then, the only issue with Quinn Orthodontics was the wait time, which generally took anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour past the appointment time at their lobby. However, that was never a dealbreaker because 1) Dr. Quinn was just that fantastic, and 2) all of his staff members were phenomenal with the best chairside manners. Nowadays, the staff, for the most part, are still outstanding. However, I recently had the displeasure of encountering staff who display manners that are unbecoming of a professional. I am incredibly disappointed, but we are staying mainly because almost everyone is still great, and I do not want to take my chances with another orthodontic group when we have trusted this one for nearly two decades.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Smart Orthodontic Group. I followed the treatment plan exactly as directed, complied with every recommendation, and endured significant pain and inconvenience with the expectation of achieving the promised results. Despite this, my midline is still off, and my bite on the right side—especially in the back—remains visibly misaligned. I raised these concerns multiple times during treatment, yet they were consistently brushed aside. At the end of treatment, I was told nothing more could be done and was told to simply “focus on the positive”—a response I found dismissive and unacceptable. I have since requested a refund due to the unsatisfactory results, but the office has failed to offer any solution or accept responsibility for the outcome. This experience has been emotionally draining, physically painful, and ultimately a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking thorough and accountable orthodontic care.

Smart Orthodontics provides high quality care and excellent customer service! All of the staff show genuine care for the patients and their families. Whenever we have needed assistance with a question or braces issue, the front office staff helped us get answers and appointments that we needed. We have been very pleased with improvements in tooth alignment and the confident smiles resulting from Smart Orthodontics staff’s care for our children.

Great experience with Dr Smart, Dr. Merriman, Jill, Riley, Natalie & all the staff! Braces off today, new custom retainers made the same day! Excellent hospitality; capable, competent, professional, friendly, thoughtful and focused on excellent results. We are joining the retainer club!
