I’m always anxious 😬 every time I have a dentist appointment but Jen was so professional, warm & helpful to calm me down. I’m thinking now to switch all my dentist appointments to Modern Dentistry in Federal Way because of how Jen handled me. Very happy customer here. Thank you Jen 😌

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the Best Dental Experience I’ve Ever Had! I walked into this office super scared and anxious—I’ve been traumatized by a previous dentist, and I’d been dealing with a lot of tooth pain lately. From the very first moment, the entire team put me completely at ease and made me feel genuinely cared for and comfortable. They took their time explaining everything, laid out a clear plan, and best of all, let me decide where to start and how quickly I wanted to move forward. That respect for my comfort meant everything. Dr. Forbes is an absolute gem. She’s incredibly friendly, highly skilled, and you can tell she became a dentist for all the right reasons. Her genuine goal is to get me to a place where I feel confident smiling again—and I already am! Her bedside manner is outstanding, and the whole team goes out of their way to add those special little touches that make all the difference. The only difficult part of my visits was trying not to laugh too much because they’re all so hilarious and fun! A huge shoutout to the wonderful hygienists and dental assistants, especially Katie and Chris (and everyone else who jumped in to help). They were so attentive, caring, and focused on keeping me comfortable the entire time. The front office staff were equally amazing—friendly, helpful, and incredibly thorough with all the information I needed. The numbing agent they use is a total game-changer. I didn’t feel a single bit of pain or discomfort. After my first appointment, I walked out thinking, “Wow, that was hands-down the best dentist visit of my entire life.” I was actually looking forward to my next appointment for what I thought would include some fillings, a crown, and a root canal! After getting to work on my problem tooth, Dr. Forbes determined I didn’t need the root canal after all. That level of honesty and integrity (when other dentists might have pushed for it anyway) cemented my trust completely. This is truly the best dental office I’ve ever been to. Because we skipped the unnecessary procedure, I’m now able to get even more work done to keep improving my smile. I’m already smiling so much more after just the first visit—I can’t wait to see (and show off) the results after next week! 😁 Thank you, Dr. Forbes, and the entire incredible team. 🙏🙏🙏 You’ve restored my faith in dentistry and my confidence in smiling. I just happened to get guided here by another dentist, and I am very glad I did. They have been very professional and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Ahn and here assistant’s Katie and Aileen, care and have made it so I can smile again with confidence. Much appreciation to Dr. Ahn and her team!

I am extremely happy with Federal Way modern dentistry. I've had some periodontal work done there as well as a recent crown. Dr. Mau his assistant Jackie are fantastic. They make sure I am comfortable and I know exactly what is being done and why. I highly recommend this office.

I had to find a new dentist because the one I used to go to had retired. This place is great they have a lot of modern technology use to make you more comfortable. They're staff is super helpful. Very nice and listens very well. I am still really new here, but I'm I will say I'm impressed that takes a lot looking forward to you more. The vists with them to keep my dental health up
