This morning I had a consultation for Invisalign with Vanessa and she provided a welcoming and wonderful experience. She was very thorough with my consultation and was polite and patient the entire time. Dr. T came in after and was also vibrant and informative. I felt comfortable with the information provided about the process that I decided to go with them for my Invisalign. Will give a later update once my process has finished. Update - April 28, 2026 Today was my appointment to pick up my aligners. Of course you have to get seen and fitted during this appointment. I was so blessed to have Linh to fit me for my aligners and other requirements for my appointment. She was so sweet and professional the entire time. She was very knowledgeable and walked me through my entire process during my appointment. She also made sure I understood how to properly care for my aligners, scheduling and cleaning. She was a pleasure to speak with. I will be requesting her for every appointment if possible!

I’m disappointed to be writing this because our experience with Thariani Orthodontics used to be positive. In the earlier phase of treatment, the staff were kind, sweet, and accommodating. I even remember one time when I was running late, they called and kindly said arriving 15 minutes late would be fine. Appointments were easy to arrange, even by text, and the office felt patient-centered. Unfortunately, things changed this year. Scheduling became increasingly difficult, with long delays between appointments. Our last treatment visit was in December 2025, and 4 months passed without meaningful follow-up while monthly charges continued. We also did not see visible improvement in my son's teeth alignment despite the time and expense of treatment. Today, after driving nearly two hours through heavy DC-area traffic for a 2:15 pm appointment. It had been automatically canceled at 2:30, and when we arrived around 2:40, the office would not accommodate us, even though there was only one patient in the waiting room. What made this more frustrating is that when we arrived exactly on time for prior appointments, we were often asked to wait 30+ minutes ourselves. Because of the lack of visible progress, the prolonged scheduling difficulties, and the overall decline in service experience, we have decided to cancel our contract and seek care elsewhere. I understand offices need policies and schedules, but consistency, fairness, communication, and respect for patients’ time matter—especially during long and expensive treatment. I hope the practice can return to the level of warmth and service it once had.

⭐☆☆☆☆ TBraces has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I’ve had. I started treatment in March 2024 after providing my insurance information and receiving confirmation that it had been properly added to my contract. I remained continuously insured throughout my treatment and attended appointments for over two years. At no point was I informed of any insurance billing problems. Now, as I am approaching the end of treatment, TBraces has suddenly claimed that I owe nearly $2,000. After more than two years of appointments, it is completely unacceptable to spring a charge of this size on a patient without any prior notice, discussion, or attempt to resolve the issue earlier. Their billing department either failed to properly manage the account or failed to communicate problems when they occurred. The scheduling process has been equally disappointing. It was consistently difficult to get appointments in a reasonable timeframe, which unnecessarily prolonged my treatment and kept me in braces longer than expected. What stands out most is the lack of accountability and communication. Patients trust orthodontic offices to manage insurance claims and notify them promptly when issues arise—not wait until treatment is nearly complete and then present a surprise bill for thousands of dollars. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TBraces to anyone looking for transparent billing practices or efficient treatment management.

I am beyond mad and disappointed with the outcome of my treatment under Dr. Thariani office. After three and a half years, and a total investment of $9,000, the result is a non-functional bite. I currently have a posterior open bite on both sides and a crossbite on the left side. Only my front teeth touch, making basic functions like chewing incredibly uncomfortable. To confirm my concerns, I sought second opinions from four different orthodontists. All four independently identified these significant alignment issues and confirmed they should have been corrected during my treatment. The most frustrating part was the total lack of communication. I repeatedly brought up the crossbite and the gaps in my back teeth to Dr. Thariani—both in person and via emails—but my questions were never answered or were simply brushed off. Looking back, I deeply regret that I didn’t transfer my treatment in the first place. Instead, I stayed, hoping for a resolution that never came. Now I have to transfer my case to a new orthodontist to fix the damage. This was a massive waste of time and money. I feel my concerns as a patient were completely ignored, and I’m left deeply disappointed by the lack of care and the poor outcome.

Dr. T did not want to treat me because I had gone to another orthodontist in the area. I find that unethical. He doesn’t like patients getting a second opinion. Makes you wonder how bad he’s treating people. I recommend not going to him. Ms. Aline Nombe, Thank you for your response. In responding to my review, you disclosed details about my treatment history and recent visit in a public forum, which I did not authorize. That lack of discretion and professionalism speaks for itself. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice to others.
