Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with a service provider. . I have had my permanent retainer for 30 years. If a wire broke I would go to my family orthodontist and they would replace the wire and I’d be in and out in fifteen minutes. These impersonal corporate conglomerates try to upsell you. I told them I didn’t want what they were trying to sell I just wanted the wire replaced. They then refused to provide service. I miss the days of Doctors that weren’t reporting to a corporation and trying to squeeze every dollar they can from their patients. I highly recommend finding an orthodontist that is a family practice.

What a fabulous, genuine, overall great experience!! The new staff - Ashley (OM), Derricka (Front Desk), Daisy (Assistant) - and the ortho Dr. Heath - I highly recommend. They treated me with such a prestige, respect, listened to my history, help make sure I’m getting the right treatment for me, and making sure in the end I have a great happy and really good looking smile! This is one of those places that I really look forward to my upcoming appointments!

Both my wife and I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Crosby Mint Dentistry. This team goes above and beyond to ensure you’re seen on a timely basis and your care exceeds your expectations. For them, excellence is not enough. Mint Orthodontics in Richardson at the Crosby Office is the absolute (BEST) I went in this morning to smiling faces that said (GOOD MORNING) I am a happy person and that really made me smile. I also didn’t have to wait long at all, to be called to the back. Once I got to the back I seen more beautiful smiling faces. We all talked amongst each other, I was met by a very nice dentist who gave me a much needed pep talk and told me that if I keep my appointments every 6 weeks and wear my rubber bands for the next 6 months my treatment will be completed. I needed to hear that! My Dental Assistant also helped me pick out beautiful lite pink rubber bands for Valentines Day, showed me where and how to place my rubber bands on my brackets. Once done she scheduled me for my next 6 weeks appt and allowed me to check the time and confirm it. We both smiled at each other and they all told me to enjoy the rest of my day. Once leaving both of the receptionist told me to have a great day as well!! Such a lovely Office with great staff and the decor is lovely. I am looking forward to my next visit and getting another tube of chapstick!! Mint is the BEST!! Thank You All So Much for making my Day. - Shaunta

My first visit/consult, I waited an extremely long time to be seen (mind you taking off from work to be here.) However, after meeting Dr. Crosby and realizing he was great, I stayed. Apparently he left and there was no communication to the patients. I recently had an issue with my new retainer and reached out to the office (or so I thought). Got a call center who didn't even know what office I was trying to contact. Then to find out this office (Richardson) was closed for a week. Again, no notice to patients. I was passed around to multiple people, none of whom were communicating any details covered, requiring me to have to debrief each person. Yet every one wanted me to go into great detail about my issue... Why would they even ask me to give detailed info when they couldn't even be bothered to relay the basic info? Long story short, this office closes and does not designate any other offices to back them up. Also, I was told after my 3-4 transfer that doctors do not speak to patients. How is the United States of America are doctors given options to assist THEIR OWN PATIENTS UNDER CARE??? I left a message with the woman (who was condescending in her conversation with me, purposely not answering MY questions but rather whatever she wanted to say) for the current doctor to call when the office reopened given I am in pain. I never heard anything back. So as another patient wrote, I guess I would have to get in my car, waste gas, to roll up on the office to actually get any answers or help. Because I guess my payments do not cover actual help or additional questions. I gave it 2 stars because the office is clean and if you have no problems and/or low expectations for service and accountability, you will have a great experience. PS - my name, which really is not hard to pronounce, is written phonetically for those who are challenged. The new doctor butchered it still 3 times while I am literally looking at the phonetic spelling on the screen. Mind you I have one of the easiest last names on earth. Using that is actually not offensive, especially since this is a "professional setting" and we are not friends. Whatever has happened to customer service in this country?!?!
