I strongly advise anyone with good dental insurance — especially UTD students — to think twice before coming here. I was told by Joseph Park, my left molar composite filling had “staining” and he recommended to be replaced because my insurance would cover it, making it essentially free. I had no pain, no cavity diagnosis, and no functional issues. Less than a week after the procedure, the entire filling came out while I was flossing normally. A properly placed filling should not detach from routine flossing. This immediately raised serious concerns for me about the quality of his work. I returned to have it redone, but since then, floss continues to catch around that tooth and the tooth has been persistently sensitive. This was a completely healthy tooth before the replacement done by Joseph Park In my experience, recommending replacement of a non-problematic filling because insurance covers it — followed by a filling failure within days — is deeply concerning. I also found the cleanings to be very superficial. They did not feel thorough or professionally scaled; honestly, it felt no different from using my own Waterpik at home. I am extremely disappointed that a tooth which had no issues before treatment is now causing ongoing discomfort. I hope others carefully consider their options before proceeding with treatment here.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Joseph Park and his dental office. I’ve had everything done here from cleanings and extractions to implants. He explains thoroughly and takes time to show why I need such treatments. I never felt pushed and greatly appreciate his honesty and transparency. The cleaning was very through and gentle. The fillings and implants were surprisingly painless. The level of the care was exceptional and very impressive. Highly recommend Dr. Joseph Park and his team to anyone who is looking for all in one dentistry.

I actually really liked my experience with this place! I’m from Las Colinas, so Plano is very far so I’m in debate whether I want to move Dentist. I originally was only going to see him only for a Root canal, but he’s really good with his hands and I have sensitive gums, so that’s a big thing for me, especially since my current dentist hurts more. I heard from a friend that was a Dentist that it is possible for a Dentist to touch you and not hurt all the time. I was in shock! That’s originally why I went on the look for a different dentist for my root canal. I’m not sure if he was gentle or if he just knew what he was doing altogether. It actually didn’t hurt when he was touching my teeth 🦷 I was actually impressed. He was very professional and really took the time to address my concerns. Definitely five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ oh, I forgot to mention the staff! So welcoming whether on the phone Or in person. I’m not gonna lie her voice is very calming lol 😂 Very reassuring. Especially since I’m dealing with an infection in my mouth and it hurts a lot, I was really happy at how quick they got me in and got me seen!

I can’t say enough great things about my dentist and his skills. From the moment he walked in, his confidence immediately put me at ease, and it was clear he truly knows what he’s doing. He took the time to explain everything, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and genuinely cared about how I was feeling throughout the procedure. What really impressed me was how quick and smooth everything was before I knew it, the procedure was done with minimal discomfort. You can tell he has a lot of experience and takes pride in taking great care of his patients. If you’re nervous about dental work or need an oral surgeon you can trust, I highly recommend Dr. Park DDS

My daughters have been patients since 2019 and I recently became a patient and I wouldn’t go anywhere else in DFW! Dr. Parks does great work and he’s very detailed and keeps you in the loop of processes, procedures and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied with your whole visit and even afterwards. I’m trying to get my husband to become a patient because Ideal Dental could never!
