BLVD Dentistry & Orthodontics Heights

I came here for a regular dental cleaning. Like other reviewers mentioned, I was first offered a deep cleaning that would have required two appointments with my insurance and cost me around $200. I was also offered a sonic toothbrush (which I already own) and a mouthwash. I asked if I could just get the regular cleaning that was fully covered by my insurance, and they agreed without any problems. The staff and the dentist were nice, and my regular cleaning was done well. The main reason I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars is the strong mildew smell in the treatment room. It was so strong that it made me gag every once in a while, especially while I had my mouth open. Cleaning itself was good, but the smell and the sales pressure were kind of odd.

I got my work done here. I had a complete extraction done Local which was loco to do. I didn't feel a thing after the numbing set in. The assistant was translating my Blah blah blah perfectly and I had a good recovery. Only thing I was disappointed in that I mistook immediate dentures as I'm going home with teeth in my mouth. I put them in pretty quickly though as I remember getting partials and they were put in right away. I got used to wearing them through the recovery so I'm already eating solid food and it's been about a month.

Ran my treatment plan through my insurance, brought it back and showed me the estimated totals, told me it all was covered and accepted and all that. So because they said that and the prices looked good I agreed, even went for extra items like sonicare toothrush and laser treatment since I was happy with the price and covered. Explicitly asked if it was covered and they ran it through something and said yes multiple times month or so later they came back with a 700 something bill after i already had paid 400 something telling me that it was actually not covered or rejected by insurance. This should be a crime, it should be illegal to tell someone its covered if its not. Now I pay over 1000 of money I dont have because I have a 4 month old baby at the time and cant even go back to the dentist, I wouldnt have spent other money i would have done it way differently or get a second opinion all kinds of things if they didnttell me they ran it and it was accepted and here is the total? Makes no sense. Completely screwed me. I literally cannot afford it. Idk what to do. Let it go to collections and get my credit screwed too? thanks for nothing. Edit: BTW i had my dental records re examined by a second opinion after the fact and was told A regular cleaning would have taken care of my issue and the deep cleaning was not needed. That is also why my insurance says they denied the claim because they did work that wasnt actually needed. AND TOLD ME IT WAS COVERED & THAT I NEEDED IT OR ELSE ALL THESE TERRIBLE THINGS WOLD HAPPEN TO MY TEETH AND MOUTH, THATS A SCAM, THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!! they are in network and i submitted all the estimate paperwork to my insurance and am filing a provider grievance for misrepresentation, as soon as I hear back on that I already have complaints ready to submit to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and the Texas Attorney General for deceptive trade practices. I hope they know I will fight this to the end and take it up with every single agency I can. Last time I contacted TGA for a corrupt law firm I won and got all my money back and I am ready for round 2

I was referred to this office since the Galleria location does not perform root canals. - I was told they would call me that same day to schedule the visit. It took 5 days for someone to contact me. - I stopped by with my insurance information so they could create my profile and schedule my appointment. I was offered a "same day treatment" appointment so I wouldn't have to do the consultation on 1 visit then come back another day for the treatment. - Today was my appointment. I arrived at 12:22 for my 12:30 appointment. I was not taken to the back until 1:00. I then waited another 15 minutes before the doctor came in for the consultation only to find out this appointment was ONLY for the consultation. -I waited another 15 minutes to go over the cost. And was told my insurance was put in incorrectly so the original total she told me was incorrect and it was actually higher. -I wasted an hour of my day for what could have been 15 minutes and didn't have to take off work. -The doctor sounds very knowledgeable but I will not be using this office. The overall experience is the reason people do not go to the doctor.

This was our first time at BLVD Dentistry & Orthodontics Heights, and the experience was amazing! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They took great care of both my son and I. Everything was smooth, quick, and stress-free. We felt comfortable right away. Highly recommend! 🦷🙌🏽😃
