Scott Evans, DDS: Orthodontic, Family & Cosmetic Dentistry

This was my first visit, as another patient recommended Dr. Scott Evans to me. Dr. Scott Evans and his entire staff understand how important it is for us—as patients—to be in good hands when it comes to caring for our teeth. I give him five stars because it is a place where you can feel calm and secure. This means you will be treated with appreciation and respect, and they will tell you nothing but the truth regarding your treatment. They won't claim you have oral health issues that don't actually exist just to sell you expensive treatments—something my previous dentist did. That is why I am posting this review of this dentist: to share the excellent experience I had with Dr. Scott Evans!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Evans and his team. Dr. Evans provided excellent care and took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment options after I chipped a tooth. Ernesto was also incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. I highly recommend Dr. Evans and his team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

I am writing to share our family's negative experience with Dr. Evans, DDS. Although we were patients of his many years ago, we remain deeply dissatisfied with the care and advice we received. Specifically, Dr. Evans advised us against replacing our mercury fillings with composite resin, claiming the teeth would "fall apart in his hand." However, other dentists successfully replaced all of those fillings for both of us twenty years later without any issues. Consequently, we endured decades of unnecessary mercury exposure and a persistent metallic taste because Dr. Evans prioritized up-charging us for crowns rather than providing earnest care. Furthermore, Dr. Evans performed crown procedures that we believe were unnecessary. The teeth we declined receiving crowns on are still okay decades later while the ones we allowed him to do crowns on have had problems. He installed nickel metal crowns over mercury fillings without telling us that or offering better options. He aggressively pressured us to get numerous additional crowns on teeth that remain fine today without crowns. Thankfully, we left the practice. While Dr. Evans may be acceptable for cosmetic treatments, we would never return to his practice.

I am SO thankful and relieved that my visit was so successful! I love that Dr. Evans was so patient and kind! It was fast and very proficient! Love Heather too😀

I am a previous long time patient of Dr. Duncum & was transitioned over to this practice when Dr. Duncum retired. I just had my 6-month cleaning done & saw Dr. Drew Randall for the 1st time. I have extreme tooth sensitivity, which he was made aware of, yet he decided to use one of his metal dental instruments to strike my tooth to gage my sensitivity level! I was shocked by this approach, not to mention the shooting pain it caused. When I reacted he was dismissive. I immediately left in pain and will never let this dentist touch my teeth again. He never even apologized... or I didn't hear one because I was in tears by that point.
