Kay & Paulus Orthodontics

Mass produced orthodontics. As others have stated this is a “very efficient operation”… in other words they move massive numbers of patients thru every day. (You quickly see this when you are there) While this might be good for most patients, as soon as their treatment plan hits a snag it causes major issues. They told us we had to go see a specialist (who doesn’t take any insurance and charges over $1000 just for the first consultation) Also note that they have 3 offices spread across the Toledo area. So be ready to drive to one that’s further away. Especially when they close the closest office for the majority of your treatment timeline. If our 2nd child needs braces we will be looking for a smaller practice with more of a personal touch. … all that said, they are indeed nice enough in the office. They just ended up wasting a LOT of our time…. And after spending a LOT of money we ended up with mediocre results. Without a time machine we will never know if a different dr would have had better results, but a consultation with a different orthodontist suggested that an alternative treatment plan would have had better results.

I have 3 children coming to the office now. Everyone is friendly, helpful, informative, efficient (with little if any wait times) and especially accommodating juggling between work and school schedules. Which is much appreciated. I would and have recommended the office to others. I also like the way they teach/encourage the kids be responsible for themselves.

Child #2 had a great consult yesterday. The appt was done in a timely manner, the treatment plan was presented very thoroughly and all questions were answered. Financials were discussed. Very efficient office. Will start treatment soon. And of course, the ice cream at the end is always a nice treat!

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Kay and Dr. Paulus for a year and a half now. We have been so extremely pleased with everything about this experience. The office staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the entire practice is so inviting and upbeat for children and parents alike. My daughter walks out with a smile every time we visit and I am happy to say that today she walked out after having her braces removed and her smile was beautiful!! Thank you to Dr. Kay and Dr. Paulus and your entire team for all that you have done for my child and many others!

We have been going to Dr. Kay and Paulus for about 1 and 1/2 years now and couldn't be happier. Honestly, from the time of our first visit everyone was so friendly,helpful and informative. The office staff is very welcoming, and we have never had a long wait which I also appreciate. Anytime we have had to get seen for a problem with my daughters braces they have been very accommodating. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.
