I just want to say that I went here when I was 17 or 18 and I had braces through Haas. I had two teeth stuck in the roof of my mouth in which they sent me to their oral surgeon to bring down and have buttons attached with chains to my braces so that way I could have all my teeth where they should be. The button had fell off on one of my teeth that was supposed to be brought down. The actual dentist at this office told me that I would have to pay out-of-pocket for re-exposure because it was closing up. I am now 32 years old and this is my x-ray. My tooth was not going back up into the roof of my mouth nor did it close up it actually came down to the point where it leaves an indent in my tongue and on top of that I was homeless at the time that this Dentist told me this... Because of the situation I ended up having to pull all my braces off myself so that they didn't ruin my teeth and now I'm having to go through a new dentist years later when I finally have insurance again and I'm old enough to know how to advocate for myself. I don't recommend this at all. Not to mention my insurance wouldn't cover a roof expander and the dentist was rude and said"well you'll never be a model with that smile" also when they did my molding they left it on so long when they pulled it out they made my nose bleed. This place left me traumatized to the point where I didn't want to go back to the dentist for years. I finally am getting work done with an actual dentist who cares find somewhere else to go don't go here. And if Haas needs a reference so that they remember me, my maiden name is Wagner.
We started going to Haas Orthodontic Arts after having a terrible experience with a different orthodontist. I am so glad we made the switch! Everyone we encountered was very friendly, and clearly communicated anything we needed to know. My son has had his braces off for almost a year and we are very satisfied with the outcome!
Friendly and timely with appointments. In and out in no time! I'm impressed that Dr. Haas sticks to traditional orthodontic care, there's not a need for as much technology as other practices would make you believe. Both my kids have gone here, one without braces and a beautiful smile and the other one on their way!
We are very pleased with our daughter's process regarding her braces. She recently finished up and is super excited about her smile. She is the second child we have had go through Haas Ortho. They are all very kind and want to help.
I never write reviews but I feel obligated to write about my experience here. Was in braces for 2 years and 4 months (I’m now 31). Was quoted 18-20 or 19-22 months. Can’t quiet remember. Was told about a year and a half into braces that we were doing finishing touches. A year later, I still found myself in braces and with my teeth looking worse than they did the year prior when I was told they would be off soon. I wasn’t clearly told why it was taking longer. When I would bring up a concern I had towards the end, they would fix it but it would consistently make something else worse. I was going in circles and emotionally a wreck over what was happening. I ended up getting a second opinion and was quoted 8-12 months with my new ortho. Another year of work to fix what the past 9months did to my teeth. Not to mention the cost. It’s been awful and I can’t in good conscience recommend Haas. The first year was great..I was so happy with the way my teeth were moving. I have no idea why the quality of work began to rapidly decrease as time went on. There were times I would bring concerns up and they were dismissed, which only made me feel like I couldn’t speak up for myself. I hate confrontation. There were also adjustments I went to where I saw a different Dr and he would look at my chart and go over what the other Dr did at my previous adjustment and say “I don’t know why he would do that.” That left me feeling not so confident with the work. A few months before I switched orthos, I met with on of the Drs for a private consultation to discuss what was happening. He told me they had 95% control of my teeth, while nature had the rest. I totally get that. Makes sense. But then why for the last 9 months had my teeth been going backwards… when they had 95% control? That’s what made me feel like it was their error, not just the nature of my teeth. Especially since I had already seen how great my teeth could look a little more than a year into my treatment (when I was told they would be off soon). I have so many progress photos I’ve taken over my treatment, and to see how they’ve changed for the worse, while trying to bring up my concerns and trust the work, while then seeing them continuously get worse, was a mental mind f**k. I was not doing well. I am now with another ortho and the movement I’ve seen in less than two months has been more positive movement than I saw the last 9months I was at Haas. I was also blown away with how up to date my new ortho’s tech is; Haas is very old school in many aspects. And while that isn’t inherently bad, I think it may hinder some aspects. For example Haas takes impressions the old way with the mold. I didn’t realize there was a newer, more less invasive (and less anxiety inducing, especially if you have sensory issues) way to do that until I was exposed to it at my new ortho. Being in braces for a prolonged period of time isn’t healthy for your teeth. I’m so nervous now adding another possible year to my treatment (making it 3.5 years in braces). The cost I am paying for my new treatment is around the same cost I paid for what I got at Haas. I can’t express how financially debilitating this is. To be an adult and not get coverage so I have paid out of pocket. Upwards now of $10,000 in total. To say all of that, I want to add- the front desk woman, Kelly, was always kind and accommodating to me. She is such a nice woman who I felt genuinely wanted me to finish with Haas and for there to be a resolution to the problem (which I wanted too). She listened to my concerns and never dismissed my feelings, and I’m very grateful to her for that. Edit to add: Spoke with Dr. Roger and was very appreciative he took the time to talk with me. He validated my concerns and addressed where they went wrong. I was very thankful they took the time and addressed in detail what went wrong. It’s uncomfortable to talk about, but necessary and I am thankful. The communication was deeply appreciated. Thank you Dr. Roger.
