Drs. Leal, Spangler, and Johnson - Winston Salem

I don’t give perfect ratings for obvious reasons but this office is outstanding for patient care. If you have an issue it will be taken care of swiftly usually by the next day (personal experience). The doctors and staff are very friendly and make your visit as comfortable as possible. I have been a patient for over 35 years. I have seen the same faces for many of those years. A personal favorite staff member told me she’s been there for 34 years. This tells me the practice has little turn over and therefore a stable and happy workplace. This reflects towards the hospitality and care shown to the patients.

Dr. Young, Sarah, and everyone at the clinic made my first visit such a pleasure. Staff were wonderful and thoughtful with pre-appt tasks. They took insurance information over the phone, sent appt reminders, and had an online patient form. It made checking in for the appt frictionless. Staff were great about communicating expectations and provided a clear timeline for my care, especially since it had been a while since I had visited a dentist. Dr. Young's had wonderful bedside manner and was very thorough. After his exam, I was able to book both my cleanings for the year. Exceptional service. I understand why several of my coworkers highly recommended this office. This is a superior dental office.

I used to need sedation for cleaning because of sensitive teeth. My tech here was so skilled that not only did I no longer needed sedation, it genuinely did not hurt. I and my loved ones have received truly wonderful care. And Dr. Spangler—both father and son—are literally the nicest people you will ever meet. You don't know this until you know. Go here. Period.

I have a huge fear of getting any type of dental work done. Therefore, I haven’t been to a dentist in a long time. Unfortunately. I broke a crown and didn’t have a dentist. I did some research online and asked for feedback from Facebook friends. I called the office of Dr Leal, Spangler, Johnson and Young. Everyone was very nice and I got an appt with Dr. Young the next day. He was so understanding, patient and very kind and empathetic to my situation. He was incredible! I don’t think I have ever had a dentist so understanding. His nurse/assistant was so helpful and kind also. She took a lot of time with me to make sure I was okay with everything she was doing. She was very patient also. My next appt is April 10th to have a lot of work done. I am so glad I called this office.

I chipped some lower front teeth (wear your nightguards even during naps people!) and Dr. Young and Sarah fit me right into their schedule and did an excellent job restoring my teeth. They look like nothing happened to them! I'm so thankful for this team of people!
