Wake Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry

I have always raved about this practice my children have been patients here for over ten years. This is the first dentist that my autistic daughter ever sat through a procedure for this is the practice that helped my oldest stepdaughter with some cosmetic dentistry before it was really time. They have helped me a lot throughout the years which is why I am so sad to write this review. I noticed today that my children have no follow up on my calendar so I Called to get one scheduled. They explained that since I missed our last visit (June of 24 WHAT, time really is a vacuum) and there’s been such a long gap since they have been seen that they will not be allowed to remain there. My 16-year-old has autism with multiple learning disabilities and will be the most affected by this decision. The bottom line is my life got insanely busy, as a single mom fighting for my life out here I fell behind on my children’s appointments. When I took ownership & explained this to the office they did not care and we were kicked out of the practice. Keep in mind after being a patient for 10 years I never missed an appointment, this is the first one and there was no grace extended. For a child with special needs to be thrown out of a practice when the mother was really clearly struggling I have zero stars for that behavior. I didn’t try to blame anyone, I fell short, I owned it and asked for help. The 2026 answer is oh well

Dr. Lamb and his entire team have been incredible throughout my orthodontic journey. Dr. Lamb’s attention to detail and genuine care have made a huge difference in my smile. The nurses are always warm and supportive, and the front desk staff is simply wonderful—making every visit easy. I feel like I’m in the best hands possible, and I’m so grateful for the care they’ve given me!

We had such a great experience with Dr. Kornstein and the staff at Wake pediatric dentistry. Our 6 week old had to have a tongue and lip tie procedure completed and as first time parents we were very anxious going into our first appointment. Dr. K made us feel at ease and explained everything in great detail before treatment and never once did we feel rushed. Procedure went amazing and our baby girl is thriving!! Front desk and insurance coordinators were also so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

When my son was about two weeks old, we came to meet with Dr. Kornstein about having a tongue and lip tie treated. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful Dr. Kornstein was. He explained the whole process to us, giving us all the time we needed to talk, and assured us that even in the event something went not according to plan that he would be with us the whole way. He held our son so gently and took the time to look at him and talk to him before he started the procedure. Everything went perfectly which we were obviously so grateful for, but it was Dr. Kornstein’s compassion and understanding that I’ll never forget. It’s so nerve wracking to see your tiny newborn go through even a simple procedure but working with a doctor and staff that understands that made it easier. My son is now 14 months old but we recently recommended this practice to a friend and it reminded me I wanted to leave this review. Thank you all for what you do!

I am so glad my friend recommended this office. I had a great experience with the staff, Laurae, and of course, Dr. Dave. My infant had a severe upper lip tie and tongue tie. Dr. Dave was very thorough in the consultation and made sure I understood all options. We decided to release both ties- it is done the same day as the consultation. You are treated like a VIP from the phone call to make the appointment through the entirety of all visits. My little one was in the best care. Please please please do not hesitate to make an appointment. You will not regret it!
