Asheville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Had to get a tooth extraction done and was recommended here by my local dentist and was very pleased by their level of service and care throughout the process. Took time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process and explained each step along the way so I understood what was happening throughout my visits. Omar and his team were kind and professional and enjoyable to work with and Dr. Omar himself even called in the evening the night after my surgery just to make sure I was doing okay post procedure. I was very impressed with their level of care and services especially having been in the service industry myself for so long. Would most certainly recommend anyone needing to get work done to come here and work with them!

The staff is efficient and helpful and the facility is immaculate. Dr. Mancia is personable, attentive and knowledgeable. My experience with this practice has been excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. In fact, I have already encouraged a couple of other people to use Dr. Mancia if they need an oral surgeon.

So I just had the second surgery of my full mouth extraction… It was a very difficult first surgery because for decades, I have been grinding my teeth, which just compacted the bone and I actually got turned away by other surgeons because they were scared of how intense and complex it would be, because when you grind your teeth, it does nothing but strengthen the bone… That being said every experience I have had with Dr. Omar Hussein has been nothing but positive and amazing! Extremely clean and professional environment… In the lobby, they have relaxing, cute pet and animal videos because you’re super nervous when you walk in there! So then I had a follow up surgery to smooth out the jagged Ridgeline.. You are awake the whole time… You can hear the grinding… Your ears are popping… And you’re fully awake… Which sounds horrifying but in reality it’s only terrifying for the first few minutes and then you close your eyes and think of Slurpee’s and rainbows! And also the playlist of music was relaxing as well… Total classic rock music I grew up, listening to! And the Surgeon himself was actually humming along… Great staff great environment and I highly recommend them! Again, my surgery was a very difficult one for the surgeon, and they performed it flawlessly!! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I had a fantastic experience this morning with the surgical team. Dr. Mancia has performed surgery on me twice and I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else. He has a super competent and a very gentle technique. The staff is awesome and they made me feel really comfortable in their beautiful office. I’d never go anywhere else. Very thankful for Dr. Mancia!!

Dr. Omar and the staff at Asheville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery are absolutely amazing. All of our questions were addressed during our consultation. The entire process was explained. My daughter’s phobia of needles and IV was handled with the utmost care and compassion. They truly made her feel safe and comfortable! Dr. Omar kept the mood light and helped her to feel at ease. I cannot thank him enough! Highly recommend.
