Ideal Orthodontics

I'm surprised by all the one star reviews. My son has been a patient for two years His teeth were really messed up to begin with. We are nearing the end of treatment and the results speak for themselves. The staff has always been extremely friendly. Dr. Sorbero herself has had to speak with me a few times. She has always been courteous and professional. I'd recommend them.

So far so good. We are on the third adjusting visit for my son’s braces. They are very helpful and thoughtful. They even went to bat for us when we were denied twice by our insurance carrier. Real people at the front desk answering phones too!

My partner and I would recommend Dr. Cheryl (especially if you have medical provider anxiety). My partner has been wanting clear braces for years but we hadn’t found an orthodontist with the proper compassion and bedside manner to make that happen for him. One visit at Ideal Orthodontics and the nerves melted away, the staff showed patience with my partner and kindness to us both during our visits. Can’t wait to see the results! Thank you to Dr. Cheryl and her office staff for their top notch professionalism.

This place was a horror show several years ago. I don't know how they kept their license to still be practicing. It was apparent they cared only about money, money, money in an assembly line fashion. We originally went there with my daughter because this practice was one of the few to take my insurance. We were told it was crucial we bring X-rays from our regular dentist. Crucial! Because of a delay we were not able to bring these crucial(!) X-rays. So what do they do? They didn't take X-rays and barely examined my daughter before declaring she needed multiple procedures and appliances in a lengthy and costly course of treatment. It was so obvious that they were only concerned with getting us to sign on the dotted line so our max orthodontic allowance through our insurance would be locked into them and only them. We'd have no recourse if we switched orthodontists so they would have us by the bicuspids! The whole place was sleezy and made me feel dirty ...people arguing in the waiting room, open disputes (bordering on physical violence) at the front billing desk, bodies jam packed into the waiting room and "examining" rooms. (I use the term loosely because no 'examining' was going on. - Only pressure to sign a contract.) The current responses from management address any low ratings with a statement that they have reorganized. Yeah, likely done to stay one step ahead of the law and the medical boards. Run, run, run away from this Orthodontist! I never would have forgiven myself if I signed the contract and used this practice and their unnecessary, expensive treatments. There are so many better options and I am happy to report that we found one for my daughter. (BTW, the five star ratings come from people with few overall ratings and are likely phony.)

The staff are all friendly and helpful. I had braces for 4 years and complications through out. Dr. Sorbero is very kind and reassuring. I’m very grateful for what they have done.
