Nova Dental Newark

I like this location way more than the location in East Orange. Talie one of the receptionist was super kind and patient when answering my questions and I had a lot of them! The Dr Lau did a great job and the assistants were friendly! 5 stars!

I went in for an emergency dental appt and was turnt away due to insurance being deactivated. They were extremely unprofessional and never told me the insurance they had on file. I found out that my insurance was indeed active. When talking to the office manager at the downtown location, she proceeded to tell me its my responsibility for knowing which insurance they had on file. She took no responsibility on the customer service. I think she should be embarrassed about how she handled this situation. She was rude and unkind. I hope she doesn't have to go through something like this in her personal life. I would strongly advise office management training and advise you all pick a different dental office . Very unprofessional to try to argue with a patient.

Nova Dental on Mulberry Street in Newark NJ has an outstanding and phoenominal staff. Coming here is great and comfortable while getting work done no worries. Caring is what they do do. So make the appointment.

I went into Nova Dental for my second deep dental cleaning. I kept cancelling my appointments because I was afraid of the pain. I was helped by Briannah the receptionist to stop being afraid and to just do it. Briannah is the main reason I finally had the procedure done. Briannah is a great employee, she cares about Nova Dental and it's clients. Nova Dental is lucky to have Briannah as an employee. My Dentist for the procedure was Dr. Kim. She was gentle, super professional and ultra kind to me. One thing to note, ask for the numbing gel before they administer the Anesthesia needle, you won't feel any pain. I recommend Dr. Kim completely. Go to Nova Dental if you need any dental work, they rock !
